- Gootch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Looks like you are in luck!
That one is definitely owned by Google :)
http://www.whois.sc/*****.com - Langford, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10At least Google is a reputable company. You want a list of domains owned by one evil source? Here:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%22The+first+extra-terrestreal+network.+We+bring+you+closer+to+the+planets.%22&num=100&hl=en&lr=&newwindow=1&safe=off&filter=0
Nearly 10,000 almost-identical sites, all with ads on them. They appear to by owned by simple domain-name-squatters. - Gootch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11the ip range the domain points to is irrelevant -- I could create a domain that points to google too.
as for them wanting to keep things secret -- they usually alwyas use MarkMonitor -- but they rarely use "Google" as the registered owner. googlecheckout.com used dnstination inc as the registrant for example.
Its true that if Google buys a company like android (android.com) it will still be registered to the previous owner. - twstdroot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Nope, once again those are just domains that are pointed to their server. For instance, whois jamesallen.org.
- macewan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i noticed some were wrong - although it was kinda cool thinking google owned e17.org for awhile
- mindstyle1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The post was done to take a crack at all the domains google owns. It might not be 100% accurate but there is no other complete list of all google domains.
- chesterjosiah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Don't mess with Gootch. :-)

Are you saying that the registrant (or admin/technical/billing contact) can't be changed in the event that a domain changes hands? if you are, then you are simply wrong. - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1
*****.com
They need that site to redirect to google.com. Instead of telling people to Google something... how surprised would they be that your insult is actually a friendly, helpful suggestion?
Ted Stevens: "Why is everyone calling me a *****? That's just rude!" - yorganic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Interesting that they registered so many domains but not googlealert - fairly obvious one to me. But, I always did wonder whether googlealert was spawned out of google itself as indigo stream dont seem to have much presence anywhere else.

- netMASA, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I have a screenshot of all the domains they own and it comes from domaintools.com

http://whois.domaintools.com/*****.com
but googlesucks.com is. - DJgreenLava, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Time to undigg that inaccurate posting.
- gasoline, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Reputable? Hahaa. Google owns Oingo.com, which owns MILLIONS of domains and sites that display Google ads ONLY. Almost ALL "misspelled" sites belong to Google.
Remember, kids: Google gets profit from every click you make on ads. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1who ***** cares? lol marking this as lame
- disrupter, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1ZDNET?
- netMASA, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Blank comment. Hit send too fast.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1Not all of Google's domains use (e)MarkMonitor as the registrar, especially the upcoming ones they want to keep quiet or ones they aquire when purchasing other companies. The digg at http://digg.com/tech_news/The_domains_google_owns_and_more! shows the registrar but also the page title and who the IP range the domain points to is owned by.
- Elektriq, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1What about googleporn and googlesex.com?
