- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Probably not. The FCC broadcast law was overturned they can't control what happens with their shows after broadcast. If you do upload anything post a link in the comments on my site.
- DNordbak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks like someone really enjoys fear factor:
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=%22fear+factor%22 - Jammerdelray, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's only in like a 4x4 screen or something like that....no full screen option
which sucks. - DeVryGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0uhhhh google isnt the ones putting them up. Its just people using their service to host illegal video.
- jeffpipas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Jammer... double click the video => full screen mode
- aplardi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just watched some of Matrix Revolutions in Full-Screen, not that bad looking on my 17inch LCD. Kinda Pixelated, but when your sitting across the room, its noice.
So wouldnt this be eating the crap out of someones bandwidth? - Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Note: Now updated list with shows I overlooked. Post a comment if you find any more that I missed.
- ClapTrap, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks, good start. How long until a there is some real content?
- Jammerdelray, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thanks jeff....awesome....hmmm if everyone submiitted something good this could be great....although, atleast the movie I watched the voices did not match the people talking lol
- entr0py, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Stop it!!! Stop it!!!
You're hurting the google. - a_greer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How could google be so stupid...activex...IE only...no Mac support, why the hell even roll it out if it cant work on Firefox or Mac or *nix
- mattspammail, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0a_greer, I haven't touched IE, but I watched stuff using Firefox. The only thing that's missing is the ability to ffw and rwd videos.
- DNordbak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0a greer, maybe you are just having trouble with yours or something, because it is working for me perfectly fine in firefox.
- RyanOC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thats all of them? Seems google could do better
- gronne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I used it in Firefox with no trouble.
- *hittalker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0no trouble here with Mozilla FF
- tarball, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pity you can't watch the videos on Linux and OSX, despite the fact that VideoLAN (the OSS video player they use) runs on pretty much every OS under the sun!
- TKDWILSON, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awsome! I love stargate and the family guy. All matrix movies after the first one sucked though.
ERic Wilson - tupac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Using firefox plays fine but no sound for me.
- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Will delete then, thanks.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0to play in full screen, just double click the video
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Probably not. The FCC broadcast law was overturned they can't control what happens with their shows after broadcast. If you do upload anything post a link in the comments on my site."
This is not true. Their broadcast flag was shot down, meaning that hardware manufacturers don't need to create hardware that restricts recording. This doesn't give ppl the right to do whatever they want with the content (illegally share).
I'm not agreeing with them, I'm just saying that is the case. Keep the uploads going :-) - dorkstyle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0For some reason i cannot view any videos longer than a few mins, there is no longer a play button next to the link :-/
- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Are you watching the videos listed on the site? I checked and they should all be working.
- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Psyonide: that was the main problem with putting this list together. Finding one show took searching through hundreds of non-playable Google searches.
- psyonide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Google's 30 second intervals get the job of seeking through videos done, though FF and RW would be nice.
What's truly missing is the ability to search for playable videos, and ONLY playable videos. - Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It was on digg a while ago. ill try to find links.
- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Again, wrong. I was not talking about the broadcast flag, and I understand what that does. The law I am talking about was overturned by the court of appeals and it was created by the FCC in order to limit what people were doing with their shows. The court of appeals decided that since the sharing of television files was not technically during the initial broadcast of the show then the FCC had no mandate over it, meaning that for now, television sharing is legal.
- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0starboy22: if this is full of crap why did you digg an article that was a dupe of this?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ya lame
- starboy22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is full of crap!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Potato: Do you have any links? I'd like to read more about this.
- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hmm... and same with you topcom
- Potato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Note: google has begun taking down these movies and tv shows.
- phishyJon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0dammit, we need mac support!!!
