- cgbspender, on 09/28/2008, -2/+24Maybe the anti-pirates took some Scientology courses?
- dmcbride6, on 09/28/2008, -2/+18+1 for innocent until proven guilty.
- WoollyMittens, on 09/28/2008, -3/+14Have your day in court, win or lose, then ***** off. Legal bullying should be answered with public lynching.
- goffy59, on 09/28/2008, -2/+9Are you trying to say only democrats use bit torrent? You ***** idiot. Buried and blocked.
- Pazz, on 09/28/2008, -1/+7Politics.. Seriously ?
*sigh* - Matt2k, on 09/28/2008, -1/+6Then the artist can release their stuff for free, if that's what they truly believe.
It isn't your choice. - joshualamgroup, on 09/28/2008, -4/+8***** THE RIA... Opps, I meant ***** THE STEF!
- Lunarsight, on 09/28/2008, -1/+5Amen - if these groups are allowed to cheat and manipulate the legal system, the least the law should allow is for angry torch-bearing mobs to be legal too, in certain circumstances.
- purplesawdust, on 09/28/2008, -5/+8***** THE STEF!!!
- Lunarsight, on 09/29/2008, -1/+3Public lynching? Come on - let's be realistic here.
(It's not enough - we need to torch their buildings also.) - maasox74, on 09/28/2008, -1/+3Being an anti-piracy organization should be answered with public lynching at the first place :)
- dsmx, on 09/28/2008, -1/+3The amount of money companies use to fight the pointless battle against piracy could be used to actually fund new and creative stuff and reduce the cost of said content. That would be far more effective then fighting piracy using current methods.
- cliffski, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1why create any content if it just gets stolen. might as well just the bank the money instead.
- Nicoon, on 09/28/2008, -1/+2Why the frostwire image?
- cliffski, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1because people who get off their fat ass and make stuff have bills to pay?
- znicket, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1And remember that Eve Online is produced by an icelandic company. I always assumed they were making a semi-inside joke.
- websinthe, on 09/28/2008, -2/+2Do any other Eve Online players find it weird to see ISK used in a real life context? I know it's the Icelandic currency but still...
The STEF are just going to keep issuing injunctions and putting in for legal action because it keeps the original ban in place. There should be laws against vexatious litigation.
Bullying is definately the right word for this kind of stupidity. I agree with tehknotte, they won't go bankrupt while musicians still make decent music. - dmcbride6, on 09/28/2008, -1/+1-1 for being a spamming bitch.
- dreamcode, on 09/28/2008, -1/+1watch the last diggnation episode, kevin explains it there.
- tehknotte, on 09/28/2008, -1/+1ok but it's just, there's no way to enforce it. besides online there are multiple ways to get music without paying, and besides the United States it's mostly not a big issue.
- tehknotte, on 09/28/2008, -4/+3they should just let people do what they want when it comes to stuff like this. bands can make a bunch of money at shows and usually real fans want to buy the music to support the band. music sharing increases awareness of a certain band or artist.
- joshualamgroup, on 09/28/2008, -3/+2Can you imagine how long these lawsuits will go on?
Forever and ever. The people at STEF just can't get this into their thick skull of theirs..
YOU'LL NEVER WIN!
When will they get it? Oh, when they're bankrupt! (*cough* MediaDefender)
So stop trying to fight pirates.. As the saying goes.. If you can't fight them, join them! - digitalpencil, on 09/28/2008, -2/+1knock down 1 and 10 more will take their place... when will these ***** learn?
bittorrent is here to stay - why fight it? - felipe1982, on 09/28/2008, -2/+1I guess he supposes the world is flat, too.
- HanSolo69, on 09/28/2008, -3/+1I didn't know there was anything such as illegal bullying.
- drgirlfriend, on 09/28/2008, -8/+6Yeah totally! ***** the RIAA, and the STEF too! We want to steal, so just quit trying to stop us already!
/sarcasm - cs77, on 09/28/2008, -5/+1Interesting book about BitTorrent - BitTorrent For Dummies.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&loc ... - forgeflow, on 09/28/2008, -6/+2How is this on the front page with 250 diggs and 13 comments? I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything, I'm just curious how the whole thing works here...
- brwright, on 09/28/2008, -7/+30ll3 is one of those racist Republican Christians (no offense to Christians as a whole). Look at his profile picture. Also, he doesn't believe in global warming.
