- nmemon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3it's only a temporary ban of kites in one city. don't judge their method of dealing with the problem. they would do the same here in the US.
- Sabin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Only in the US it would be a nation wide ban and when the end of the ban approaches the government would extend it indefinetly.
- CrankyMcGuy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2OK, flying kites with jagged glass strings for ariel combat is seriously messed up, but banning ALL kite flying? Would they ban all car driving if some kids started playing joust at high velocities and accidently killed a pedestrian? I agree that the kite combat is dangerous, but politicians the world over always seem to punish everyone for a small group of people's misbehavior. Being somebody who used to enjoy flying kites as a kid, I feel bad for the youth that have to grow up in such a messed up world.
