It says that anyone can say whatever they like (under most circumstances, i.e. selling military secrets is treason) even if it's wrong, inappropriate, etc. If another party is offended by this, or can prove that it is wrong, they also have the right to rally against the comment, and it is through this exchange that the truth in ideas is found. The First Amendment DOES NOT give you the right not to be criticized for your comments, and if Kevin Rose wants to avoid criticism, he has the right to apologize.
