- scooterbaga, on 10/12/2007, -0/+44They let it happen again as well. In the comments section.
http://www.echoingthesound.org/phpbbx/viewtopic.php?t=22132&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=mcain - unloud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+40Aww, I wish he would have mentioned the fact that McCain's page was "hacked" because his staff was using images hosted from someone else's site.
- JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -2/+27I wonder what the news would have been like if he had been goatse.
- Emilio8605, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13And if you don't cast your vote in the next 7 minutes, you'll have bad luck for 7 years.
- szembek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Use the [reply] button.
- kronix2, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13I would be more concerned about his support for Jerry Falwell, a man who:
1) blamed 9/11 on "the pagans, the abortionists, the feminists, the gays and the lesbians, the ACLU, and People For the American Way."
2) believes "AIDS is the wrath of a just God against homosexuals."
3) supported apartheid in South Africa
4) supported white supremacists in South Africa
5) supported segregation during the Civil Rights Movement.
6) believes the Antichrist will be a Jewish male
7) believes Jesus was the "first American" and God is a Republican
8) claimed Tinky-Winky (one of the Telletubies) was an agent of homosexual propaganda
This guy is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe and a raging fundamentalist. Yet, McCain lends his support to him. McCain took on Falwell and the Religious Right during the 2000 elections, and he lost primaries because of it. So, what does he do? He does a 180 and lends his support to Falwell, calling him a "great American" because he realised he needs the support of the far-right. What an *****. - aldomatic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Yea everyone turns to MySpace for everything, i would not be surprised if we started casting actual votes through MySpace Polls.
- Dayyve, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@scooterbaga
Yes! Stuff like that is absolutely ***** brilliant and you speak for me and many others with witty ideas as such...
You're my hero!
(Obama in '08) - plhearn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Jerry Falwell controls one of the biggest organized voting bases in America. He has over 200,000 followers and he sends each of them a newsletter that outright tells them who to vote for. Bush and McCain have to support them because they need his sheeple to vote for them. Its really scary how nutjobs like this have such much power.
- Dayyve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You're judged by the friends you keep. The fact that McCain would call Falwell a "Great American" tells me he has absolutely no grasp on reality and how society has progressed right by the both of them.
- Speed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"Amazing, only 300 million people in the country, but Jim Bob got 500 million votes alone!"
Edit: Voting via Digg would be funnier. Imagine the news headlines "BarakObbama2008 has won the national election with 20 million Diggs. John McCain was burried as lame, innacurrate and a dupe within 3 minutes. Obbama is now on the Homepage of America!" - meechwings, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah, I was disappointed they got the story wrong, even though it's a "fake" news show. McCain's site wasn't hacked, it was whoever made the pages' fault they hotlinked someone else's image.
- Dayyve, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'd rather vote for Ru Paul than another dickwad from Texas.
- NickyBatts, on 10/12/2007, -10/+13Newsvine blows... it's a bunch of self-important dickbags trying to sound smart on the internet.
- fober, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7Ladies and gentlemen, the next President of the United States of America, Tila Tequila.
- esssee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I can't see how this was a "major marketing event for Newsvine", when their name wasn't mentioned, and instead the prank was attributed to a "hacker".
- Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you would complain if some president you didnt like won the election on digg
claiming
!!!!!!DIGG GAMER!!!!!!
and then demand a recount - MacSuxWindozSux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yep Hilary used to play college Ice Hockey.
- dhVyse, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3That is so damn awesome I almost ***** myself laughing.
- lindapuzhgena, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1So... Even if it's not true it is quite a nice idea. http://fishtalks.blogspot.com
- Speed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You do realize in Collage that Hillary was an ultra-right winger, right?
- kronix2, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Ron Paul believes in socialism for the rich.
VOTE RON PAUL!! - NewChar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was classic.
- scooterbaga, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ya that second one is pretty vicious. It was still up until about 10 hours ago.
- Ellsass, on 11/05/2008, -2/+2wow... Clinton a socialist? That's a laugh.
- Soldan, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6you would think...that if McCain were serious about running he would actually have a decent layout to the page.. then again its myspace.
- nickjag, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0The story wasn't accurate but still interesting. McCain should know better!
http://www.nickjag.com/marketing - JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2scooter,
that was fantastic. absolutely brilliant. - datalife, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2No publicity is bad publicity
- sharly2007, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Yeah, I was disappointed they got the story wrong, even though it's a "fake" news show. McCain's site wasn't hacked, it was whoever made the pages' fault they hotlinked someone else's image. http://www.gwafi.com/home.html http://www.gwafi.com/links.html
- Vision2098, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Jeffree Star.
- Tawni, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2That would require McCain to care about what his staff is doing online or actually *GASP* learn about current technology and the internet. He won't. He hates computers and will stick to his staff printing out his emails and never touching a computer.
- unloud, on 10/12/2007, -7/+4We can't compete with dickbags that can write their own news. :-| I say we declare Jihad!
- Toast1185, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2myspace h4x0rz r teh 1337!!
- d34f, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0I think it's brave of the political candidates to campaign on the infermation superhighway
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1it was funny i saw it !
- o0nac0o, on 10/12/2007, -11/+6I second that nickybatts. Newsvine is weak.
- dhVyse, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1OMG Hitler's back, HURRY, protect John Stewart, he's our most important Jew!
- McTendo, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2I wish my MySpace penis would make the DailyShow
- h00ligan, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2pretty funny...
someone should hack hillary's.. oh wait, she's a socialist and says enough stupid ***** to get press all on her own.
RON PAUL in 08.
