Japan ISP imposes 30 Gig Upload Cap, Unlimited Download Cap

news.yahoo.com — OCN, the carrier operated by NTT Communications, will introduce a daily upload limit of 30G bytes from Aug. 1. (That's still roughly 900 Gigabytes upload per month.)

  • ryanknapper, on 07/06/2008, -0/+1I'm surprised I haven't heard of this proposal in the discussions over US broadband limits. Download all you want, but what legitimate reason could you have for uploading more than 900 MB a day?
