Wired had one of the articles - rhepark, on 10/16/2008, -0/+6Homer's brain: Use reverse psychology.
Homer: Oh, that sounds too complicated.
Homer's brain: Okay, don't use reverse psychology.
Homer: Okay, I will! - HisTumness, on 10/15/2008, -2/+8So Googling won't really make me go blind?
- BatCountry, on 10/16/2008, -1/+7I bet Google paid to have this written.
- Maxamegalon2000, on 10/16/2008, -2/+8You know who Googling isn't good for is John McCain.
See what I did there? - inactive, on 10/16/2008, -0/+4Who would have thought 20 years ago that you could one day find an answer to practically every question you ever had 24 hours a day from your own room? Sometimes I dream about questions or concepts in the middle of the night and wake up just to google them.
- inactive, on 10/16/2008, -0/+4TMZ will have that study shortly.
- rhepark, on 10/16/2008, -0/+3Homer's Brain: It's a deal!

Brains of today's elderly are stimulated with anything but a book. Come to think of it not just the elderly...
On a second note there... the porn....
Googling is good for you... lol - T00NY, on 10/16/2008, -0/+3Excellent, will help my aging mind! :-)
- megamod, on 10/16/2008, -0/+3Well, the thing people were saying about it before was that Google was making people's brains lazy since they never had to retain any information...since they could also google it up.
I think this is a comforting thought =). - warsongs7, on 10/16/2008, -0/+3...playing with Oscar will.
- malignatius, on 10/16/2008, -0/+3I've been Googling for Hot Babes all morning and boy, do I feel stimulated!

- iArthur, on 10/16/2008, -2/+3I've been reading google for 3 years. All i know right now is only Titles and Descriptions:)
- jmarkham1, on 10/17/2008, -0/+0I find this article very intriguing! To know that studies have claimed that there was twice as much brain activity in the areas of the brain linked to decision making and reasoning to Googlers when compared with the technology shy readers. I find these results encouraging to those who are regular internet users. This information will also be helpful to those who aren't as tech-savvy. These not so google friendly people might be more willing to get online to Google more information and also read up on articles more than trying to pick up a 300 page book that will take longer to get information to register and learn, while getting on Google will help transfer and register information easier. Internet searching engages complicated brain activity, which may help exercise and improve brain function, and this information helps defend this theory. I liked this article because I am a regular Googler, and after reading this information I didn't feel as bad about being on the internet the majority of my day, and I also feel like I am learning information by keeping up with technology and even when I don't realize it, I am learning something while just browsing through Google for information for a research project.
