    Anyway, this is lame.

So the order changes when the month is larger than the day or the day is larger than the month? Yeah, I did not think so. I understand the reasoning behind the day then month ("European" format) as opposed to the month then day ("American" format), but it is not because it is largest to smallest order. Please take your American bashing elsewhere and try again.
  • schwit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Most Americans don't know how to write a date. Please use 2006.04.05, year.month.day, to make the most sense. A date is not unlike other numbers, which should be written left-to-right largest-to-smallest.
