- 7of7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Look at Digg/Slashdot/Fark/whatever that site was that aggregates them all. Everyone is just sopping up all this information like pancakes sop up syrup. The amount of facts on the tip of anyone's tongue is so much greater than it ever could have been. Besides, who uses their browser for porn these days when we've got bit torrent?
- tryferos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The internet is the library of the world. There is anything you need available 24hrs a day. It can be a time waster yes, but it can also be the greatest resource and collection of information ever assembled, making the world a litte bit smaller and uniting us all into one big family.

- hardcoredj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My 98 year old great-great aunt had a saying when she saw a teenager playing videogames. I suspect she'd feel the same way about the internet. Her saying was, "Little things please little minds".
Thank you internet, for turning the lot of us into mental midgets. - .Steven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I should be working...

TV is the same way. These technologies expose us to so much more than we could've ever been exposed to before. The concentration of information on the internet is simply incredible. I would counter that time spent doing anything besides browsing the internet is time wasted."

Porn 2. online gamming - 7of7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0On the contrary, I guarantee that the internet has positively influenced millions of people to become far smarter and far more inquisitve than they would have been otherwise. yeah, word. The internet is just one huge community, I take that back, it is its own world, you can do whatever you want. Saying the internet is a wast of time is like saying the world is a waste of time, you can make it a waste, or you can do somthing.
All these articles trying to summerize computers or the internet always suck. - DeVryGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here's another newsflash, I like beer!
