Intel has 'serious questions' about AMD plan
eetimes.com — SAN FRANCISO—Intel Corp. said Tuesday (Oct. 7) it has "serious questions" about a deal announced by Advanced Micro Devices to spin off its manufacturing operation and focus on chip design, and is ready to defend its patents. AMD and Intel have a patent cross-licensing agreement under which AMD pays royalties to Intel.
