- Ray301, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm not fluent in japanese but from what i can gather, the kanji in the description header for most of them states they are from "single sheet, no cutting"
- IvyMike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Realistic human figures are infamously difficult to design in the world of origami. This guy seems to have the problem solved.
- Jyuu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Any One Piece fans here (reading scanlations or watching fansubs) will find something interesting.

It's the almighty ass-kicking GOD ENERU! - theorifice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Is this news technology related?? No digg. "
How is it technology related ? Mathematical techniques from origami have recently been applied to solve problems such as efficient folding of solar panels transfer into space and folding of airbags . Check out http://www.langorigami.com for some of the theories and applications (TECHNOLOGY RELATED ...) of origami.
Then if you're still bored, I have a gallery here.

Mathematics my friend. Beautiful mathematics. lol - iknezek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I used to be realy into origami folding, even doing some stuff close to his nautalis and fish things, but never anything as complicated and beautiful as his people.
I especially like his "God of War" one.

- smspence, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2merreborn - you need to learn how to read.
shrewd - i guess you must be an incredible artist and intellectual, so you are not easily impressed by mere amature work, for example, like his "Icarus" and "Kendo Swordsman". you are a dick - tokyobill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'll give you a translation.
Nearly all of them are from one sheet without cutting. - markh1967, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I know origami"

- RangerRick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0they are done from one sheet of paper, I've seen his models before at an origami convention
- Angeliec, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is impressive. I'd like to see the diagrams on how he folded this stuff!

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I like the geometric origami (cameras, ships, whatever), but the organic ones (like human figures, etc) just look like they're crumpled up and formed to resemble whatever it is they're supposed to be... not as impressive, i don't think.
- markh1967, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0D'oh! Where'd my link go?
Trying again....
Here - WaterDragon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Wow! Awesome!
Even if the figures were made of several pieces of paper each--and even if the paper was cut and glued, it is still nice art to make from folded paper.
But if the pieces of paper were really square and were not cut, then it would be more awesome. They had to be some huge pieces of paper, in that case.
Apparently, when an origami artist is almost finished with a complex piece like these, if he accidentally tears the paper, it is considered such a dishonor that he must take his own life.
They do this by paper cuts! -
