Firefox 3 is still in beta. Are you Digging from the future? - sk11, on 03/06/2008, -1/+5Kudos for being years behind their competitors? About ***** time is more like it.
- renesisx, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3I dunno... Firefox 2 was getting pretty awful - huge memory problems and bloat.. I'm glad FF3 has fixed a whole load of those issues or some people would have been migrating back.
- latova, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3Open source usually has really fast development cycles. Ubuntu Linux has two major releases a year.
- renesisx, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3Yeah, we're nerds. We'll go with Firefox. But this means developers can start to write ONE standards compliant site... and it'll work on Firefox. Rather than developers pandering only to IE and Firefox users getting a raw deal. IE8 = Good news for Firefox, Safari and Opera users too.
- theaceoffire, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2I can't go back unless they add noscript and adblock...
- theaceoffire, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1Wow, any clue what they are gonna add for 4? 3 fixes a lot of memory holes and is lots faster...
- theaceoffire, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1Check out FF3 by the way. WAY faster than all other browsers with Javascript, and a whole bunch of other fixes.
