WORST ADVICE EVER - jacobjacobs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The best advice here is "DELAY" -- it works. Acting like hot-***** in court is more liable to get a guilty verdict.
- _jinx_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If it gets digged, it should be on here. Obivously it is interesting to enough people to be read. So why not share it!
- lollerskates, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Seriously, this is not supposed to be on here..
- IraqManiac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0helpful information, but some of it is inaccurate, like the "If officer guesses your speed, throw something and ask him how fast it was going." very baaad idea, make yourself look really stupid
- Twelve-60, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dude, wtf is this doing on a tech news home page....
- disord3r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Out of the 4 "what you must do" items, I can tell you that only the first one is going to do you any good. The other three items should really be under the "what not to do".
- kortiz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I got an advice, dont floor it
- dmarley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How about:
"If the officer gives you a ticket, and you were speeding. DEAL WITH IT! Make a mental note of what happend and never do it again." - ep0niks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Too bad it don't works like this in Canada, an officer don't need to be present at the court anymore.
- z0rz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow that's funny. I got a speeding ticket going to work today. I walk into the office turn on my computer, open firefox and this is the first link I see. Sitting there on my google.com/ig homepage. Amazing. This must be a sign that I can get outa a speed ticket. :D w00t
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sorry guys just thought this would be helpful in case you are running from cops while war-driving.
- katanna, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How about "DON'T SPEED!"
- hypeiv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I got pulled over once and just said "yes sir" "no sir" "i understand sir" and kept my hands up on the wheel the entire time. He let me off with a warning.
- will-rom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like to use the GPS tracking card.
- jamms, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0police are always trying to bust out of towners for the same reasons this guy gives you to get out of a ticket. they don't expect you to go to court. i drove a truck all of last year and got three speeding tickets, only one of them was legit, but they take your money. no matter what.
- GTAcrimelord, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How about:
"If the officer gives you a ticket, and you were speeding. DEAL WITH IT! Make a mental note of what happend and never do it again."
That's even worse than the "If officer guesses your speed, throw something and ask him how fast it was going" advice.
