I just don't know how you would take on a site like digg or reddit, I think its time for a new idea. Social networks were all the buzz a while ago then facebook and myspace came out on top, almost no sense in competing, I think social news sites have pretty much peaked as well, the big boys are just expanding to take over the niches. But hey, competition is never a bad thing so its worth a shot.

- rubber2002, on 12/02/2008, -3/+3It is not really an achievment to lauch a site in 21 days. You can launch a site in 1 day too. What is important is to get users & make a community to carry on the conversation. It took us almost 6 months to get some real users for our site http://www.totalpad.com.

3. Hire a girl to program it, she doesn't have to be particularly talented, but she does need to be somewhat attractive
