- GumGuts, on 05/27/2009, -1/+11Sky... net?
- billricardi, on 05/27/2009, -0/+9That would be as a hostage with their eyelids propped open, a la Clockwork Orange?
- austang, on 05/27/2009, -0/+8Now I can watch Shark Boy and Lava Girl the way it was meant to be seen!
- billricardi, on 05/27/2009, -0/+6I have to say that I would be a lot more excited if they announced a drop in the monthly fees for Sky HD. The box itself is affordable, but the monthly costs are ridiculous.
- Shaggy3, on 05/27/2009, -0/+53D... killer robots?
- Calcio, on 05/27/2009, -0/+4I'm no Sky lover, but they are prepared to innovate in technology far more than so many of the other broadcasters. Sounds like they are aligned perfectly for any explosion in 3D. Now if they could just get rid of the glasses...
- MerchantofPanic, on 05/27/2009, -0/+3I wonder if Rosie Odonnell and Oprah look even bigger in 3D?
- LucidHawk, on 05/27/2009, -0/+3This tech was shown early 2008.

Why are they still messing with glasses? - kimbja98, on 05/27/2009, -0/+3So now HDTVs have matured and become cheaper, it's time to replace my ailing CRT and now I should wait for a 3D HDTV?:p:p
- ryryindo, on 05/27/2009, -0/+23D TVs will start showing up in people's homes next year. The thing that's really holding anyone back is a severe lack of content to actually leverage what 3D has to show off.
Here's to the future! - Philbert, on 05/27/2009, -0/+1Agreed, I even saw this on a CES video, of course I couldn't see the 3D effect on the video, but I took the hosts word for it, that it was showing 3D with no glasses. I don't think people will ever accept TVs that require them.
- ohreilly, on 05/27/2009, -0/+1It'd be nice if the HD fee applied per account, not per box.
Defeats the whole point of multiroom when you have to buy the box for a substantial fee (even on eBay) and then get every other channel as part of the multiroom fee, except HD. - GawtMilk, on 05/27/2009, -0/+1They sell computer monitors (LCD) and video cards that support stereoscopic 3D.

Those are the best reviewed ones I can find. I'm sure they sell some for a much cheaper price. - iAche, on 05/27/2009, -0/+0Because that technology has quite a narrow viewing angle compared to glasses and that matters in a living room where view angles are often less than ideal.
- gatorfree, on 05/27/2009, -6/+2Holy *****, it's the rise of the machines!
