- nathanmock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guess I'll watch it when less people are trying to access it...
- WikiTerra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hooray. A promotional video for investors from ten years ago. Yay.
- citrusfizz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0it would be nice it i could watch the vid

- TridenTBoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ah I see, I didn't read your post fully. DAMN how lame
- recca, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^^ true dat
- nicepants, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Posting the ASX link doesn't help, it's just a pointer file to the windows media server.
- nicepants, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks TridenTBoy, but even though you changed the mms:// to http://, it goes to a windows media server which only streams the file & doesn't allow you to download the WMV. So until this becomes less popular, I'm stuck with a slideshow :P
- PAStheLoD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's ***** SLOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooowWw .. damn, these guys are selling _fiber optics_ but I bet they have got only a ***** 56K .. or it looks like very much.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It won't play for me either...just plays for a min or so and then stops. If anyone has The Science Channel (owned by Discovery) they have a show called "How It's Made". I remember seeing an episode that had fiber optics in it. It's episode 15 and it airs again Jan 04 @ 8:30 or 11:30 pm EST.
- Abduladu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd like to see it...but no can do right now. I'll have to check it later.
- hiro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Even though I like Digg, I always go to Makezine first as most of their posts end up here two days later, as with this
- capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I actually interviewed with Corning and attended a complete plant tour of their optical fiber facility in North Carolina. This video catches the gist of the process, but doesn't give the whole story. Will digg anyway.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2005/12/make_video_podcast_glimpses_of.html is a film that has a 6 minute segment on this, as well as other segments on manufacturing processes. Check it out.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0at frame 7:52, i could have sworn that was Bill Gates.... just look at it!
it was worth the ten minutes - nicepants, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I would digg this if the video would play instead of looking like a slide show. Why the heck isn't there just a link to DOWNLOAD the whole thing?! Bugs me when people don't provide that option.
- TridenTBoy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Nicepants thats why you use SAVE LINK AS... :D
- vegasbright, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Its a PR piece! BEWARE!
