- Aurock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Omnisoft's getting screwed by Handango. No 2 ways about it.
- fatcatz268, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, Handango paid $4200 but it was AFTER John Cody made the story public! What makes you think that OmniSoft revenue is less than $4200, do you work for Handango?
- christopherw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I sent a big huge email to Handango about this, hopefully they'll realise just how immature their dealings towards a previously-loyal customer are, and fix up.
Doesn't solve the problem though, I hope John manages to sort something out. - AlanMacDonald, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm sorry, hobbitaussie, but did you actually read the article, all of it, especially the part where it says he was doing business with Handango for _six_ _years_? *boggles*
- joe221, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I used to buy all my mobile software via Handango. Now none. I'm just one person, but...
- hobbitaussie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1No they are not. Omnisoft made no money on Handango because they never sold anything there. So handango payed him the balance of the ad allowance ($4200) which was more money than he ever made at Handango all totaled up in the first place!!!
So it seems not only has Handango done the honorable thing, OmniSoft got a windfall they never would have otherwise. - nicwise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hrmm, not the first time I've heard of Handango screwing people.... I'm surprised they are still in business....
