HP and IBM To Test Wiki-Style Patent Review
thegamegods.net — Industry heavyweights are putting their chips on a test of a Wiki-style, Web-based public review of patent applications. The program is the brainchild of IBM and New York Law School prof Beth S. Noveck. Hewlett-Packard, General Electric, and Red Hat each put in $50,000 to help fund the voluntary pilot.
