    Something similar to this was made by a friend and I a while ago for POC for phishing. We were able to bypass the timing problems. Unfortunately, we had the same problems with right click text thing in the status bar. I'd like to see a solution for this.

    I agree that this could easily be misused for phising scams and it should be looked at very soon.

    Edit -> Preferences -> Content -> Advanced (next to Javascript check box) -> Enable or disable "Change status bar text"

    That works in some cases..
