- WillyVolk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It was great. I never knew there could be so many variations on such a "simple" food!
- Devin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Jonknee, it relates to tech because the grilled cheese day phenomenon was starting with one week's notice all on the internet by an upstart blog, Slashfood, which is part of Weblogs Inc Network (the people who bring you Engadget, The Unofficial Apple Weblog, Autoblog, and others). Pretty amazing that this new blog has been able to get the word around the net so fast and that so many people are participating.
On another note, I think this whole grilled cheese day thing is quite fun! Also, Slashfood has some awesome articles. I've been reading them since they were announced within the past couple weeks and it's pretty cool. So if you haven't checked them out yet, have a looksee! - jdawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hey... it's fun, it's blogs, it's DIGGable. If 37 didn't vote for it I'd say you're correct, but folks like a little variety in their DIGGs.
- jdawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've been very distracted at work today... what should Slashfood do next? Burgers? Pizza? Cookies?!?!!?
- Kilo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I believe it is quite lame actually. However I can easily see how it relates to technology.
- CoolSilver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why isn't there a who Reported this and WHY section?

Um, well it's linked up on tons of WIN sites which is why the "word is out there". Online or not, it's still not Digg material--we're talking grilled cheese here people. Should I go Digg what I had for lunch? No thanks.
Also, there are only a handful of submissions. Most of the pics on Flickr are from four people (28 of 29 technically) which I assume are staff. At least the top poster, with 11 of 29, is full time at WIN. Not exactly a movement.
Not to say that this doesn't make me hungry for grilled cheese, but I am just trying to point out that it's A) not tech related and B) not even popular or "a movement". - CoolSilver, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This is completely retared. I being a college student understands that grilled cheese is easy to make.
I just don't need 30 million ways to cook, eat and otherwise enjoy my food.
Unless I was surfing digg at the same time while eating grilled cheese sandwiches would I concider digging this.
You know I have been nice and letting people slide and not becoming horrible about the topics. Maybe I should? Maybe it will help if more people complain?
This is digg, more users hit that digg button the more sees this. However the same can be said for the report box.
That reminds me, reporting this as lame soundy tasty to me. - jonknee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Why is this food story on a tech site? I can't see how it relates to tech.
- p3ngu1n, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0is there some way we can get rid of the "word" blogosphere? man, i can't stand that word....
- moorey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Hey, I'm going to the toilet to do my business. Should I blog about it and submit to digg?

What is Digg?
