- DeskFlyer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19"sdklfgklsfdg?? Popisdsdo, jfdf sdf sdf kfiosdif sodifd. akldsfs?"
I'm sorry, that's not a hair question. - Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19Hey, he's no different from the other morons who take 2 seconds to write a response just so that they can be "first". Some people here have some serious Diggpeen-envy.
- Bamborzled, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14"Use a password besides 12345."
How did you guess my luggage combination? - onionizer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14meh, you can't trust anyone nowadays..
when I was young, google used to be just a search engine...
(btw, if you've never used it, google personalized homepage it's a pretty nice little tool) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Use a password besides 12345.

- konstantinos88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Gmail's passwords have a minimum of 6 characters, so it must be something more like 123456.
/just sayin' - gubin09, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I'm on ur internetz killing ur pagez
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Yet again, real article is here: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,2123162,00.asp
- drakia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"personal links, notes and tabs temporarily deleted for most of Thursday"
You're aware it's Sunday, right...?
And I think I saw this on the front page a few days ago (Like, when it first happened..) - rksprst, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This is really bad for google. A lot of people are already worried about storing all their data on google's servers and this is exactly the reason why. I'm thinking of switching away from gmail because I don't want to lose my emails why google decides to do a maintenance and screws up.
- Novion76, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"oops"
Not too concerned. They're fairly benevolent overlords... - AeroSquid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i gave up on google's homepage in favor of netvibes.com while ago and never looked back.
- se7en11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@Bamborzled
I think that's actually the date the joke was first used - Dec 3rd, 1945. *ducks* - millerm277, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Personally...I'd applaud google for this. Not for deleting the accounts, but for admitting that it is at fault, and doing it's best to fix them.
- appetite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2why would someone digg you down? that was such a non-controversial, common sense comment.
- skunkit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm guessing it takes a while to restore everything from their search engine cache.
- joax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This concerns me. As google manages more of my data I want to know that I can take a backup of it and store it offline in case I need it when Google is down. There is no easy way to get a copy of all your docs from google docs.
Does this mean we have to keep a duplicate manually on our computers? - kahrn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I lost all my stuff, but google restored it. I'm happy with google.
For the time being. - drcreek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it happened to me. But was back like a day and a half ago. really confused me at the time.
- sathias, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I swapped over to it just this weekend, very impressive site :)
- ByteGuerilla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You say that like you think that isn't an account made just to screenshot for the article.
- secretrk1313, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1lol i dugg up Deskflyer because he knew my secret languge
- GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3This happened to my home page but it is back now. They seem to have changed the GWT set and I attributed the failure to that.
- KoZo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Man I hate it, jnudes.blogspot.com is gone for 3 days now. :(
- Tacobake, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1agreed, love it. And I'm the guy, or one of them that doesn't go for that sort of thing because I'm such an awesome nerd
- bluegene, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1not5150@gmail.com?....What a moron...hope his email account doesn't get spammed
- veersite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"In Soviet Russia, Google homepages delete YOU!"
- bobothn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Google hasn't lost any data they are just having to pull it from their backups. Also were are you going t move your mail that has better back up then google?
- ninjathis, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2I eHeart Google
- yoyotojo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0i changed my personal homepage yesterday and today ... no gmail and strange behavior from my google account. I can't log out of the google account using firefox and none of the gmail support links seem to work... is it just me or are the gmail support links timing out?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -14/+6At least Google is trying to fix it. Yahoo would just cover it up by cancelling the accounts of those affected & tell them that they didn't follow their Terms of Use. Those yahoo fags love to delete people's accounts.
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3It's a code. Beware the gibberish revolution!
- yoyotojo, on 10/12/2007, -15/+0so my gmail account has not worked since this morning, anybody know what I can do?
