- T0PS3O, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7FYI, here's part I as seen on Digg: http://www.seopedia.org/internet-marketing-and-seo/googles-secret-andor-forgotten-places/
Very interesting info! - Hayes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5http://www.duggmirror.com/tech_news/Google_s_56_forgotten_secret_pages_part_two
- blazemp, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Very interesting collection of Google links. Thanks for sharing.
- cimmeron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I found these links useful and interesting. I had no idea that these existed and it must have took some time and organization to list them all in a handy resource page.
- balibones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hey man - 1,196 (so far) have dugg this so don't worry about what three or four others say. It was interesting enough for most of us. Even if these pages can be found easily enough, that doesn't mean people don't appreciate the fact that they are listed here in an easy-to-read, easy-to-find format.
What they don't understand is that not everyone on Digg, and not everyone who reads blogs online is as Internet-savy as they are. We write for our audience and that audience is often someone on the marketing staff who doesn't spend 15 of their 24-hours online each day.
I'm beginning to see how vicious the Digg community can be toward those who write about the internet. Hey, maybe you should write about video games and weird science... - duetg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4It's a perfect list! Thanks for sharing!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3the person that made that article and spent the time searching for those pages seriously needs to get out some more.
- CristianMezei, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3750 other people care. If you think it's a list of crap that doesn't mean that it's crap.
Just have a look at some of the URL's there. Most of the guys in our industry would be delighted to see some pages that thery never saw before.
I guess that makes you what ? Not a guy from our industry ? - wilk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3If it's on the World Wide Web, it's net exactly secret. Come on, Google would know better!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3very interesting: the 1st 5-6 comments are nice ? hey trolls ! wake up
- jkr06, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Wow!! Seriously for "Can't get enough about Google" guys !!
- sharkbaitbobby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I really need to get a life. I looked through all of those pages and there were about five that i hadn't seen before.
- Kale, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I've seen the user-created logos page before. I can't remember from where, but I did get there from google's front page. I think it's whenever they have a special logo when you can click it to get information about why the logo was changed. I guess it's "secret" the rest of the time, though.
- mjmason, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0None of these pages are "secret", most can be found from the google homepage.
For example: google.com > About Google > Logos and Photos (bottom right) - to find the logos.
Put it this way, unless someone inside google created this then all the pages must have been found with a bit of browsing and searching of the google website. - joindigg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0http://www.digg.com/tech_news/Google_Cheat_Sheets_Awesome ?
- joindigg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0http://www.digg.com/tech_news/Google_Cheat_Sheets_Awesome ?
- usbserial, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2If they are published in a list of secret sites, they're not exactly secret, now are they?
- hangtown2004, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1wow cant get through must have slamed the server
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1WOW! Who cares. What a lame list of crap. Of course the links are "unknown" or "forgotten", it's all just a bunch of web detritus.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2So Google is guilty of leaving things on the web that they didn't want there.
And their own search engine is responsible for bringing it up.
Irony anyone? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -14/+5Dude, they were forgotten for a REASON.
