- Topher06, on 08/29/2008, -0/+1Geezus, you think the actual iPhone App store is monitored? 90% of the apps there are junk too and full of bugs. I think both Apple and Google seriously need to reconsider allowing user generated apps on their platforms because its both overrated and underwhelming.
- StupotAce, on 08/29/2008, -0/+1Unmonitored is a great idea as long as you have rankings, which they say they will. It's a great idea.
- BrendanSheehan, on 08/29/2008, -0/+1They are going to call it the Gapp Store!
- supermanred, on 08/29/2008, -1/+1Unmonitored app store? I have one of those on my iPhone (jailbroken) and it's about 60% crap and buggy software that's on it...
I can't imagine an unmonitored store being a good idea. It will be filled with crappy, buggy and malicious software in no time. One Android security breach (massive distribution of a malicious peice of code) will spell the end for Android.
