- VoidOfsPg, on 10/16/2009, -0/+18Google should just create its own currency.
- nahsrocketeer75, on 10/16/2009, -1/+17Why doesn't Google just start dumping $100 bills from airplanes just to be nice?
- alphadoggs, on 10/16/2009, -1/+13Love to see them jack up the payments to website operators who use Adsense. I mean, I get excited when I see 22 cents drop to my bottom line, but 44 cents would really be cause for excitement
- captininsanity, on 10/16/2009, -0/+11Each denomination would need to be followed by 100 zeros.
- shnuffy, on 10/16/2009, -2/+13No surprise Google would still make money in this economy; during a recession, people masturbate more.
At least I do. - theOster, on 10/16/2009, -0/+9Googold

- Snakeyes11, on 10/16/2009, -0/+4Google is awesome. Everything they do is amazing. I love Google Voice and Google Wave.

- thefox84, on 10/16/2009, -0/+3I want to see the Google OS. More money to that please.
- taibo, on 10/17/2009, -0/+3All the bills would have Google ads on the side though.
- sdipaola, on 10/16/2009, -0/+1You can see the eyes lighting up, of us tech entrepreneurs. Whether folks do it or not, how many of you , like me , at least thought about what would be a fast small effort that could result in purchase by google. I was in SV in the glory days and this type of thinking just becomes part of you. I recall a few small 'companies', especially during the Yahoo, MS and media companies wars - where they were all fighting to have coolest new feature to distinguish their portal- that did it just perfect: one simple idea (eg. web based calendar/tasking) , 3 employees, 1 year , beta gets press, hits and bam - a major buys you. Even better if the buying company was on the profit up swing, you get tons of stock, stay a year or two with them and then out. With money in your pocket to do whatever you wanted including to do it all over again.
- miaow, on 10/17/2009, -0/+1its a shame alladvantage business model didnt seem to work at the time. if they put related ads it may have worked. i find google ads 'clickable', whereas almost all other types of ads are of no interest to me.
- duzey, on 10/17/2009, -0/+1Threadjack! Have you ever sat down to take a crap, and you're just sitting there for a long long time, reading the dryer warning labels, looking around, admiring stuff that you should probably clean, and all of a sudden you realize you don't have to poop any more!?! I "AHHHHH!" YAY!
- stockmarketclub, on 10/18/2009, -0/+1I am waiting to buy my next computer until I can get Chrome OS on it when I buy it. Never ever another Microsoft OS. never!

- Nephersir7, on 10/17/2009, -0/+1Google is the only entity I venerate....
- bonofosho, on 10/17/2009, -0/+0agreed. I just wanna run android on my laptop really. it would seriously speed up development
of apps and grow the userbase! - bonofosho, on 10/17/2009, -0/+0dude... its the internet. ***** the AP's rules. Information is information.
- JohnnySoftware, on 10/16/2009, -2/+1After digging this I noticed that the article was written/copyrighted by AP with no unauthorized use allowed and it was on a web site I knew nothing about. Investigating the site a little I found that material on it was not supposed to be made available to the public.
I have undugg it to prevent possibility supporting anything that might be untoward. The site could clear things up by publishing a notice that indicates they are authorized by AP to publish AP articles in their entirety as they are, or by not publishing them, or by locking the site down so the public cannot see pages on it and only registered users can - if that is their policy. I am not sure what is going on. - camilos007, on 10/17/2009, -2/+1Of course they made money. They often pay like 1 cent per click. They're probably keeping 99% of what they actually charge advertisers. We don't really know, since they'll never come out and say it. If they want to increase profit, all they need to do is keep a higher percentage. But now they have a problem, how can they give website owners less than 1 cent per click? 1 cent per 10 clicks maybe?
