It seems that digg user will submit ANYTHING about digg, no matter how possibly inaccurate or trivial it is (recall the story about GameSpot adding digg this links to their pages, if you will). On the flip side, most of the stories seem to make it to the home page, only to be filled with comments about the inaccuracy of the article, likely because people either dugg it without reading it, or dugg it, THEN read the article.
As I said before (in a comment about the article mentioned above, actually), digg's users seem to extend an overbearing ego for the site.
