- Kodiak41226, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is sweet, I mean super sweet. We just implimented it today. Anyone that has tried to increase page rank in the past (Normal People, Normal Site) will drool over this tool. Of course there are a lot of people that don't need this tool because they seem to be able to read Google's mind in terms of writing a page that the Google bot easily indexes, but for the rest of us this is SWEET.
- mvprj84, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4There are a lot of people who post on here, and if someone finds use in it then good for them. Frankly, many people probably would have never noticed this feature was added if it wasn't for this posting.
- swight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Useful SEO tweaking info, just another little nugget to help us webmasters out.
- SFBay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah. People who do honest SEO are OK. People who do fake sites full of ***** content and in any other way try to cheat are the scum of the earth, and no apologies.
Sorry if you're an SEO "professional" and you're offended, but basically, everyone hates you, and for good reason. - dominowrecker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0well maybe I am using this wrong....but it seems like the tools they offer are the same ones that you should already know by using the regular google.com page. like site:, link: etc
perhaps I am missing something? - dominowrecker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ooops nm I see some action now
thx! - dominowrecker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0""SEO's are the scum of the internet in my opinion"

I think the reason people say stuff like this is because they think people who do SEO, also do google spamming (doorway pages etc) They kinda group everyone together. When the truth is most people who do SEO are honest, and are just trying to get honest organic placement. - Moysh007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I dont see crawl stats when I log in.. am I missing something here...?

- cbamarket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How is this useful? How do i see the keyword positioning?

http://www.webmarketingexperts.com.au/ - zonemen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't see the point of this - in one of CPanel's statistics scripts, you can tell what keywords people are getting to your site with.

Isn't it funny how people like fartwan ask these silly questions on topics dug up to the front page? They look like such an ass. That actually goes for everyone that is so negative, mean or rude to others here. Yea, you think while you're hating on someone, everyone is rallying but they're not, you're still the loser you were in high school, or grade school, or where ever you came from.
I think I'm just getting tired of seeing these ugly comments. - lahuard, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0If you want be in the dark about these things, then don't read about them.
- barbobot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'm sorry, as cool as this feature is, i can't stand SEOs. Now I know not all SEO guys are bad, but most of the ones i've met are. They bring up irrelevant search results in google and other engines, just to get some clicks on adsense. It's as bad as spamming.
(ok im done ranting, go eat your dinner you bastards) - frakilk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"SEO's are the scum of the internet in my opinion"
...and people who post uninformed statements are the scum of Digg...in my opinion - sirplus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0good stuff :) digg. i am an SEO!! muuhhahaaa. actually i've never seen the term SEO before, but i do know how google got to the top of the search battle, it has to do with (doi, duh) RELEVANT results! yessir, ya can't really squeak up the google ladder by puttin a thousand repetitions of "Blond Hottie" in your metatag. or by hiding the word in yellow in a field of yellow and repeating it ten thousand times. just wont work, thank goodness. there WAS a time (1996ish-2001ish) when that sort of tomfoolery was all the rage. people spent thousands of dollars hiring people to "optimize" their sites to outrank other sites, while little discussion was had about: "IS YOUR SITE WORTH ANYTHING TO ANYBODY??" SO, I FIND YOUR SITE, SO WHAT!!?? well, at least those days are over. generally speaking, it wont rank in google unless the content rates. notice all their old competitors are long gone. Infoseek! Yeah! Lycos, baby! Wheeee
- ForbesBingley, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"SEO's are the scum of the internet in my opinion"
Any good reason for that, or are you just going to paint broad and inaccurate strokes across a huge body of people for apparent reason? - jpfinch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0SEO's are the scum of the internet in my opinion
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Sweeeeet!
