- Bluejaye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm switching back to Yahoo. Google is the next evil empire (imo).
- mercury81, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I went to MSN Search after reading Google's (lack of) privacy policy. It works well.
- palex9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i stopped using google and switched to yahoo search after i read through google's fine print regarding privacy policy. essentially the are profiling every user and can do anything they want with this information. GOOGLE IS EVIL.
- Elxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1After reading the comment about Webcrawler, I'm curious about what most people used before Google existed. I myself was a Webcrawler man, but briefly switched to Yahoo for some reason. But today, I'm part of that 50-something percent of Googlers.
- oxigen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1because google is awesome. Or was. I don't like their new hompage thing. The reason google was the best search engine, was because it was JUST a search engine. It didn't have a million services like Yahoo or MSN.
- Jaybo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I remember when I thought Excite.com was the best of the best search sites...
- Maber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm not sure why AOL was distinguished from the rest in this survey, considering AOL uses Google search. Chalk up another 3.2% for the king.

That was me too. I simply started using Google because the cursor was loaded into the search box on page load. Beautiful. That was in early 1999 and I haven't looked back since. - jesusphreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's actually less marketshare then I though. For whatever reason, I assumed the'd be at like 80-90%.

I get to work on a bike - Greg-J, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Aren't we a fickle bunch? It used to be screw Yahoo and M$, Google is all teh rage!!!
I agree though. Google is turning evil. - Maajid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Most people are just too accustomed to the google look and feel to actually try out other engines.
- Urza_the_Tyrant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Google's getting arrogant...
- nyccharlie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0anyone know if webcrawler is still around? i used to use that religiously for ages.

- jagnum1fan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, I agree Maber, I can't believe these morons. How could they know all this information about user statistics and not know that AOL uses the google search engine. Jeez... Google SHOULD have 60.1 percent.
- kingygk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When my friends ask me for something. I just google it. :)

- tmar89, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This must be a quote from Eric Logan from XM. Thanks, Captain Obvious!
- compu73rg33k, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Is this Search thing a new product by Google? Or wait it's the first one they had and have always dominated. Thanks for the update that they are STILL the huge majority.
- silentauthority, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Is this supposed to be interesting, or not already a given?
- motionblur, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Here is the correct quote:
“A recent study has found that 100% of humans and co-workers must ingest food and water in order to live. Film at eleven! - SirBriggs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0
"A recent study has found that 100% of humans must ingest food and water in order to live. Film at eleven!!"
Wait, What!? My life is a lie! - Logan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1In other news, Microsoft Windows is still the most used OS.
- rhyno2000, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Snore.
