- dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1you guys requesting a mobile digg do realize you could subscribe to the feed through google.com/ig and use this, right?
i mean if you want to interact.......... get a laptop :/ - tbfl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Google understands the untapped Mobile market....we need a good mobile version of Digg !!!
- dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is really great because i tried using google IG for my PSP homepage, but it never worked properly, but this works great on my psp and btw the URL it changes to for my psp was www.google.com/ig/mobile. Only wish they would let you choose your settings in the mobile edition just like they do in the full edition
- tophfisher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0F'ing Rad.
- gamer31, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0did you have to link to the blog? why not the actual page?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0now only if a i had a web enabled phone
- mikeazorin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does anyone notice that the title of the mobile homepage is iGoogle?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you have T-Mobile you have get T-Zones for $5/month and you'll have unlimited internet .
This site shows you how to get your smartphone, and most other web enabled phones on it. (even though they're not suppose to be using the $5 option, but instead the $20 option)

But I won't tell if you don't. - phedboi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I didn't realize the XHTML page was new. I found it a few days ago while setting up my Nokia 770 tablet. The best part about this new mobile search engine is that it strips out a lot of flash and other crap that slows down any browser capable of viewing them. It's pretty much a proxy server tacked on to a search engine. Good work, Google geeks!
- nads, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0grrr google are huuuge, they have the money, they have the power. However, they still haven't managed to creat one app which works really really well, its all freakin beta at Google.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thanks for the heads up. Myself and my new PPC6700 are thanking you :)
- FunkyGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow this might have inspired me to actually pay for that internet usage on my phone....now that I can get e-mail and RSS to my phone so simply...awesome!!
- Philipp_Lenssen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think Google's linking to the wrong location.
They link to http://mobile.google.com/personalized/index.html
It ought to be http://www.google.com/ig/mobile
In any case, the latter crashed my Nokia 6600, both Opera and the default browser. Jeeze... - tidejwe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Google understands the untapped Mobile market....we need a good mobile version of Digg !!!"
AMEN to that!!! I am really happy google has personalized mobile now, but I REALLY wish that Digg would get a mobile site out so can read it anywhere and comment anywhere...I always visit slashdot on my phone because they are one of the few that do mobile! - CanuckMakem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Works on my Blackberry here in Canada just fine
- redguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WTF .. I get 404 :( Is this available for US only? If so...shame on you Google

- marreka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This, along with Gmail Mobile, does not work in Japan...
Get with the program, Google. - tidejwe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I rarely digg things unless I need to reference them later, but THIS gets a DIGG forsure for being awesome!
- Harlequn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0finally a search page that is snappy on my Blackberry! definately worth a look by anyone who uses a web browser in a mobile device.
- Pharoah6905, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0 mikeazorin i noticed that too, now i finally understand why its google.com/ig
dracula7, you could subscribe through the rss feed but 1. its delayed and 2. you cant actually "digg" the stories. Just see them.
I just wish you could select specific things (rss feeds, ect.) just to show up on the moble version and other things to show up on your pc. - cue79, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is a great addition to mobile running around like a looney :) Too bad the RSS feeds are still links to the full articles, rather then just giving you the RSS info. I'm sure they will work on it sommore.. Really good! Looks great on a 650!
- rolypolyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pundits are already speculating that Google Mobile Homepage will be a hit in Alabama and Mississippi.
- sahaskatta, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0^^^ agreed! all the 3rd party digg mobile sites are aw full there should be something like mobile.digg.com hosted by digg. they should create a minimal theme so it would be faster and it should also be power full enough so that stories can be commented on and dugg.
