- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+122 whole pages? a "for Dummies" writer could turn this into a 200 page book.
- piper5ul, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Or you could just go here for google own version of the same document!!
http://www.google.com/help/features.html - Erroneus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6They forgot under speciel web searches, strangely enough: http://www.google.com/firefox
cool though - xamox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Yeah, I own the google hacks book and that pretty much sums it up in two pages. Very useful.
- gschoots, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6The amazing thing is, apart from us geeks no one seems to care. Sure everyone knows google and uses it but apart from the image finder and Gmail all the other services and features are so obscure that no one I know even knows about them.
- EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8I'm sure it's very useful for the people who want that information. Whether you need it or not, it doesn't matter. Someone else does.
- stinkipete, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Are you kidding? Everyone seems to know about google earth and google maps.
But yeah, some of the other stuff's just weird... - koweja, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6You don't see how a list of google services and proprietary search operators might be useful to people? Perhaps you should re-examine that list and see that google isn't just a search engine.
- trylleklovn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I want this as a poster!
- waterandfood, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4See also: http://www.googleguide.com/
- DigeratiPrime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3good question, the url is rather short too:
http://www.adelaider.com/google/ - lankybutmacho, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's a PDF for easier printing.
- silas, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Good, but it's still incomplete. It's probably a good thing it's incomplete though, because Google's reconnaissance methods are way too powerful sometimes ;)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Mirror Link: http://www.feedsforme.com/google/
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nothing wrong with PDF if you have a nice light free reader like Foxit
- purpleplatyduck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2and just as a side note, MentalPlex is evil...you stare into it long enough, and the dang swirly circle stays with you a long time after you close the page. Love it :)
- purpleplatyduck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2wow, I had no idea. Thought you were just being stupid at first, but you're right. Guess that's one more way for Google to track us...first they can see our harddrives, now our schedules, now they know our exact location at any given moment in time--all because we let them. Rather creepy...
- msanchez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You forgot dodgeball.com as a service belonging to Google
- tw0bit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like the funny section on the second page
- hackwrench, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Why is it hidden behind a url shortener and why is it a PDF?
- billflu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1All you really need is the advanced search syntax.
- shattadeya, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually its missing the Main Google Feature. Search patterns ie "Apple sauce" -baking +cup
- Marvelous, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2very useful indeed
dugg! - ComputerWiz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yeah, this is a great cheat sheet.
They must be improving it fast because it's already in version 1.05! :P - andrethegiant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Google_services_and_tools
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yes, they are very interested in keep track of you, dude. Keep on dreaming that you matter that much.
- PayneX, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I'm sure someone will find it useful.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7I agree its very useful!
- sdigroup, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4good stuff...
- ravenmuffin, on 10/12/2007, -12/+6Nice!
- tdyer, on 10/12/2007, -27/+5almost as worthless as the "cheat sheet"
its a search engine...come on. - EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -28/+1Hey, I'm a friend-of-a-friend-of-the-guy-who-wrote-that.
