- AllnightChemist, on 10/11/2007, -8/+365"Ladies, I have, like, 9 gmail accounts, so why do we even have our clothes on?"
- ICSU, on 10/11/2007, -3/+235To be honest, she didn't say anything about you yesterday. About my performance however...
- mattmcm, on 10/12/2007, -5/+203"As for performance in the bedroom - well, we kinda lied. In fact, the stats show that solitary Gmail users are far more likely to Google themselves."
The bastards. My hopes have been shattered. - TriZz, on 10/11/2007, -9/+163What's gmail?
/old, poor, sucky in bed. - Eccles, on 10/11/2007, -0/+138My wife and gmail are quite similar, actually; they both rarely go down.
- fkr3, on 10/12/2007, -14/+150"54% of users are between 18 and 34"
50% of that age group don't make a lot of money, I guess that's why they chose to measure household income instead of the actual users. - Alex76, on 10/12/2007, -11/+135Wow. I knew there was a reason I switched most of my email to Google a few years back...
- MDrake, on 10/11/2007, -1/+89I will digg any story that says I'm good in bed.
- CoronaVegas, on 10/11/2007, -4/+74same here, except I spend more time on Gmail then my wife.
- KnytFyre, on 10/12/2007, -5/+72Wow, I'm 35 almost 36, and broke pretty much most of the time! For number 3 you'll have to ask my wife.
- TheTankengine, on 10/11/2007, -2/+67If you want folders go back to hotmail.
Here in the 21st century we use labels, filters and instant searches. Life is good. - 0crabby0, on 10/11/2007, -0/+46After I joined Gmail, I started getting checks from Google for several thousand dollars each month.
Also bank mistakes in my favor happen at least once a week.
My hair is more lustrous, and I never have to fill up my gas tank in my vehicle - it just stays full no matter how much I drive!
Thanks Gmail! - undersky, on 10/11/2007, -6/+52performance in bed correlates with youth and health.
wealth correlates with health. (wealthier people generally are more healthy, having greater access to better healthcare.)
younger people generally have more energy in bed while older people have greater need for viagra.
therefore:
a younger and wealthier demography should also positively correlates with better performance in bed. - lostactionhero, on 10/11/2007, -2/+46"Oh baby, I'm gonna do you gmail style."
- torgos, on 10/11/2007, -2/+45Google can do anything.
- dleifelohcs, on 10/11/2007, -2/+45Younger, richer, good in bed.
Pick two. - TheTankengine, on 10/11/2007, -2/+43I don't even want to know.
- KicktheDonkey, on 10/11/2007, -8/+46My wife uses Gmail... But hands off! She's mine!
- FunkyWitDaSysTm, on 10/11/2007, -0/+37wow, is there anything gmail can't do? soon we'll be heaing, "gets you laid."
- adragons, on 10/12/2007, -1/+35How exactly did they acquire monetairy information about the visitors?
- Philluminati, on 10/11/2007, -3/+35How do you know your grandmother is good in bed???
- thefirelane, on 10/11/2007, -9/+40she's mine too!
- jrstanley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30I don't think there're enough gmail girls to go around!
- IEatHamburgers, on 10/11/2007, -4/+32@philluminati:
"Nigerian", not "Niggerian." Way to be inadvertently racist. - theOster, on 10/11/2007, -3/+29you spend more time on gmail than on your wife?
i know the feeling - imsteve22, on 10/11/2007, -3/+28Edit: digg me down
- jazh, on 10/11/2007, -0/+23Google does...
Infact most of digg is useless...and yet...here we all are.. - superdoug, on 10/11/2007, -0/+22http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o3/robertsdoug/Gmail.jpg
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+23Yeah it fits me too, Gmail and Facebook, how coincidential.
That's because you notice something, it's called, MINIMALISM. Facebook is minimalist design, Myspace, is not.
Yahoo, is not.
Hotmail, is mediocre.
Gmail IS minimalism, which is more popular today. - MacParrot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19"there are a few things I picked up over the years"
I think they pills to cure those things now. - psevium, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20Or they Googled it
- newsheatdotcom, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18Great. Now we're going to start getting "Prescription Gmail will make you better in bed!" e-mails...
- gummih, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18And to think that it's still just Beta sex!
- fboliv, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17@halobender: you are clueless. They don't own your email and if you spent a couple of minutes reading their TOS instead of writing that piece of garble you'd probably avoid making a fool of yourself. They own your email as much as flickr owns your photos - meaning, they don't. Its your own personal property.
- webcure, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16I always KNEW there was a connection...
- Incognito, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16Why did I click this -_-
- MacParrot, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13Does your mom know you're using her computer?
- thefirelane, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11"there are a few things I picked up over the years "
In Bed? - undersky, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11sorting: i like to be able to sort by attachment file type, file size, dates, etc. because what if i need to find a particular attachment? often someone or even myself will send me an email with nothing (no content or subject) but an attachment. when i have 1000+ emails from the same sender, it's impossible to search by the name of the sender. sort by email size at least get me to the 1% of my emails w/ attachment, then i can sort by dates, etc.
a lot of time search is not enough to find email.... so i would like to sort by date, attachment size, attachment type, attachment name, etc. - squire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9@coronavegas
Perhaps you should google your wife? - matts0344, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Most Digg users have a hard on for google and gmail, so yeah.
- KJay, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9It doesn't seem very striking to me. After all the admittedly tell you that there are much fewer gmail users. Anyone who knows anything about statistics knows that less people means a larger standard deviation and a higher probability that the sample mean will deviate from the true mean. In other words, Yahoo and Hotmail users are "decidedly average" because there are so many of them.
- phoggey, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9My girl made me switch to gmail.. I was a yahoo user. Gtalk from AIM too. Took a long time for it to happen (over 2 years), now I have to use both.
She's a keeper. - torgos, on 10/11/2007, -6/+13Younger and richer please. I can just pay women to lie about my performance in bed.
- wto605, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7well the figured that those older, poorer, and sucky-in-bed people would read the article... not us highly sophisticated gmail users!
- Chubakkaz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7lol, who puts time for research into this
- Zoctogon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6I like how they added an arrow pointing to the Gmail columns as though readers have trouble interpreting data in a graphical format.
- fatdog789, on 10/11/2007, -11/+17If you believe this article, then I've got a Picasso to sell you...
Gmail's userbase is wealthier because tens of millions of fewer people use it, and most of its users are concentrated in Silicon Valley, where the average income is 3x-4x the national average. - CBanga, on 10/11/2007, -7/+13Might as well call it G-SpotFindingMail.
Giggity Giggity. - Kev585, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8My grandmother uses Gmail and though she may be rich and good in bed she is getting up there in years.
