- kevinrose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Cool stuff, yet another way to get digg news.
- MikhoohkiM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1why not just go to www.digg.com
- WALZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey theartofennui, you forgot

will search Google and return first 5 results for that query - makezine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0type help for the other commands, also type sample for some free articles from make i put in there.
- VipeNess, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0might be interesting...
- rowhard99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'll give it a try... Sounds pretty cool..
- WALZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow! I love it! Kick Ass!
- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Too bad it uses AIM.
- sburgz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is awesome!
- lightningrod220, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"Too bad it uses AIM"?! What are you talking about? The AIM service is the least irritating of them all. If you're still using their client, then you should consider switching to Trillian (on Windows), Adium (on Mac), or GAIM. Don't use the native client of any messaging service. They all suck. AIM is the one that can keep up the best in weird situations. Their servers rarely go down, and the service isn't too slow on dialup. There is even AIM express, which can be used without needing an executable.
- makezine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0we'll have yahoo, msn and jabber ones (eventually) no worries.
- DewayneSmith, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Too bad I don't use AOL...
- bullium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yet another way for me to, stop being productive...I love it :)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0too much work if i have msn... (and don't want trillian)
- Inkling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Get trillian (www.trillian.cc) and you can have all your IMs running at once inside trillian (including your AIM makebot).
- makezine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i'll try and post who won here in this thread too.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, too bad it's using AIM. I've been doing this with a lot of my favorite sites and services (including those in my own company to make my work easier) for several years using jabber.
- flipzmode, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm testing it out, and I'm liking it so far! Yes I'm on digg every 5 minutes, but that's ok. lol. I'm still enjoying playing with the bot, and have always loved beta testing. Thanks makezine (love you guys! ;) !
- yagoogaly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0neat
- chaosbuddha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this would be useless for me because I'm on digg every ten minutes
- Streyeder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0MAKE rocks! I just won a shirt too! w00t!
Digg! - utch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thanks! w00t
- theartofennui, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if you want the bot to stop IMing you, it's as easy as unsubscribing to the feed.
so figure out what the name of the feed that it is iming you with is. then type:
unsubscribe whateverthatfeedis
ie. unsubscribe digg - sewerhobo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anyone having trouble with digg/diggall feeds showing the wrong content? Neither seems to be synced correctly. For example, the command "diggall" shows the top five stories on the Digg homepage, and the command "digg" seemingly shows random (albeit, recent) stories.
- wa3yri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How do you change the font?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hot ++ DIGG

http://ezbuzz.blogspot.com - 5m0k3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is rather neat. I had actually used MAKEbot before, but was discouraged by its lack of digg support. Great work!
http://techblaster.blogspot.com - makezine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0here's digg via IM on my sidekick phone
http://www.flickr.com/photos/pmtorrone/87973870/ - panique, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great. Now diggsheep will get notified in real time to come and say "baaaaaa".
- makezine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0we've given away t-shirts, 4 volumes and make and more - thanks for all the support. keep digging on it!!
flipzmode- every away message is different, so that might be a little tricky - we can check to see if we can get status and then deal with that. - flipzmode, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I found a possible "bug"
It im'd me the newest diggs for the hour, and my away message responded to it, and then it said that was an unknown command. I know it doesn't really count as a bug, but it seems like it should be able to detect that it's an automated response. Just thought I'd point it out! - worx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0how do u make the bot stop IMing u? i already tried blocking it.
- dmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ill give it a look... i use adium...
- senselessending, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, what's really cool is that i have IM forwarding setup - so when I'm ideal this is like a free tech news updater on my cell phone. Awesome.
- ax3coaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome
- sewerhobo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sweetness! This will definitely stay on my buddy list.
- senselessending, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0idle*
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Interesting idea, but completely useless. I doubt anyone is actually going to use this on a regular basis.
- znxster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0aim.. :( boo no good..
- ekai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0MAKEbot: you are my new evil overlord. i bow down to you.
- nymphetamine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome!
- wired4christ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im only doing this for the free prizes...
- jmccorm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0What controls the time at which the makebot gives a 24hr update?
Oh... and a stupid question. WHY? This provides no value to me that I can figure out.
