- uptown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4They sell a magic fridge?
- gizmola, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4As long as they also offer trap doors that drop burglars and annoying relatives into a swamp, then this should make Dane Cook very very happy. Do they also offer those paintings where you can remove the eyes and spy on people?

- mage1129, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Finally the internet provides a discreet way to purchase the items I need to work from hom and keep my secret identity secret and my hidden lair hidden. So long Fortress of Solitude, Hello Bat Cave.
All and all I think the investment of the do it yourself kit might be a way to make an awesome walk in closet. It seems after the cost the hardest choice would be which book to put the switch in. - st1nkf1nger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Even in my home state! Do it yourself kits for $1500..

- turnpaugh622, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have a recessed book case in my house built in an early 1950's General Motors community. I really like the bookcase too. I am thinking of building more but the house is really to small for it.
- Unt0uchable, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1nice, i wanted one, until i saw the 10k price tag
- xphaedra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sweet. I could hide from the RIAA/MPAA bloodsuckers in there...
- BryanQ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1SWEET!!
- dvddesign, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice concept stuff, but half the "switches" looked like someone went nuts on their imagination.
All you see is a hand reach for a plant, start to touch a tile. You never actually see any real button switching going on with any of that stuff. All they did was tilt a candlestick back. If they're wanting to sell me on it's capability, I need to seamlessly see that candlestick go from "on the counter" to being able to see the switch mechanizism. If it's a real switch, it's gotta be there on the other side... They shot it from the wrong angle to convince me.
And the fingerprint scanner hidden behind the photo frame? Where's the track the frame is on when it's moving? Or is it moving with fishing line?
My other real beef is there's no explanation of what operational mechanics are used to hide and reveal the hidden areas. Is it something I'm going to have to hire a service guy to repair if I can't get access to my gun/pr0n room? Or can I do my own maintenance? See, if I gotta hire someone to open a door for me, it doesn't do me much good to have it hidden. What did Batman do when the Shakespeare switch didn't function? Who did he call? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's freakin awesome!
- tomhung, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Only prob is you can never show it off to your mates, ugh!
That would be a hard secret to keep. - mtdna, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sweet! That grandfather clock with the stairs behind it is just like on Webster!!!! I Love Webster!!!!
- CrazyNic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Really....you gotta be rich to NEED something like this, and then doesn't it lose it's "cool" factor? Unless your throwing a pool table under the floor. That might be functionaly-fun.
- sheik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sweet... If I ever build a house they are helping design it.
- MattZed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wonder what they are going to say about this on diggnation.. should be jokes and a half!!

- ryandbrimhall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was surfing the website and really liked the idea. Then I went to the contact page and found out that the company's headquarters is like a mile away from my house. I'm gonna go see if they have a display to see.

- dmclone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I actually saw one of these in action. very year our city has a home show that displays 10 expensive home.
The home I looked at had a little note next to a book and told you to pull on the book( would have never know). I pulled the book and the library opened up to game room (cards) and a bar. Probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in a house. - schrizto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Absolutely love this.
- amorpork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That is just really cool - love it.
- jasonedean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wicked Awesome!
- tracicollins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Do you have a link to the company's web site? The video is no longer available. It sounds like they have some interesting ideas and perhaps products.

This is exactly what i needed to grow all that pot... - CrashKC, on 08/25/2008, -0/+0This is really cool, but its a dupe about 3x over.
- gunner1138, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I must say, this is pretty cool, especially if you have like a diamond or brick of gold that's just about priceless.
- salmonfish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0And I must say, those are the *****-looking videos and animations I've ever seen. I doubt they've actually made or sold any of that stuff. Like that recliner for instance. So, let me get this straight, I'm sitting in the recliner, I get up, pull the handle on the side, the CUSHION lifts up, and I jump down the hole in the seat?!! Are you joking? ***** ridiculous...
- panique, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where's the bust of Beethoven (or whoever the hell that was)?
- cubbieco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Me= robber with time. Knock over every candle, tear down the books on the bookshelf... That kind of stuff won't keep your belongings hidden.
Saw some show on cable where they had a "real" robber go through and rob some poor saps house. He was dumping everything out. Hidden buttons, maybe. But if you go for the book or the candle for a switch there is a good chance that it would be found. - ultraelite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0beethoven wtf you mean licoln man I love batman
