Also, the manufacturer's website lists it as 500:1 contrast ratio, but that's probably being too optimistic, considering they likely go with a testing method that is most favorable, instead of realistic. I've noticed a lot of LCD monitor manufacturers adjust their specifications a lot, and get away with it.
