- EviLiu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I feel similar to Seumas, although I don't mind a small gift. No one in my family is tech savvy enough to be able to buy something I'd really want anyway. Even something as simple as a dvd - I'd wind up with full screen or VHS.
- dotuplink, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1your a dee dee dee if you dont get it! Dude this is cool! I
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Here is a little ASCII flow-chart I created for holiday geek-gift-buying for myself:
+-- I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING
+-- PLEASE DO NOT GET ME ANYTHING
+-- I AM NOT JUST SAYING THIS
And I tend not to get anything for anyone else, either. For instance, last year I told everyone I was donating a few thousand dollars to a very worthy local charity (http://www.transitionalschool.org) and that they shouldn't expect any gifts from me nor should they give anything to me. (I've been insisting that family and friends not give me anything for xmas or birthdays or anything else since I was about twelve - it just makes me uncomfortable).
I'm agnostic, but I think a lot of people routinely forget that SANTA CLAUSE is the patron saint of CHILDREN and CHARITY. Not the patron saint of "BUY ME LOTS OF *****". I'm neither in need of charity nor am I a child. Nor are most of you.
Sorry to rant. I'm just getting so sick of this "holiday spirit" ***** meaning "buy me lots of things". Plus, I'm a GUY and like most guys, if I really want something, I'll have already bought it for myself. - RadicalBender, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1>I know, they're funny every day...
No, not really. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1HAHAHAH OMGOMGOGM IM SUCH A GEEK SO ITS FUNNYYY!!11
come on people....... - JackCampbell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0very geeky, but always fun to see something usually used for pseudocode for something like christmas.
+dugg - Otto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0swestrup: You mean you don't have vibrators and tazers hanging from your Xmas tree?
- Chilerosas, on 12/05/2008, -0/+0Nothing but the flowers.
http://www.chilerosas.com - invader, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0pretty good.. could have used a little more effort, though
- Nullifidian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Holiday Cubicle Artwork at its best!
- albinoMithos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is funny but really where would you classify money?
- trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How is this funny?
- 808kick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I want to find a job this christmas...
- swestrup, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Am I the only one who noticed the bug in the flowchart? The arrow heading into the box labeled "It'll be used for Xmas lights, you watch." from the right is incorrect.
That arrow can only be taken for electrically powered, non-fearful, non-glowing items that either vibrate or can zap someone. Obvious examples of these are vibrators and tasers. In no case would these make reasonable christmas ornaments. - jump4jay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Plus, I'm a GUY and like most guys, if I really want something, I'll have already bought it for myself."
Amen - femmebot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Plus, I'm a GUY and like most guys, if I really want something, I'll have already bought it for myself."
Same goes for me but I'm not a guy. Sorry but that was a little chauvinistic. But I like to give which is really how I tend to treat this time of the year. If you really get uncomfortable about getting gifts, then give them the name(s) of your favorite charities and have them make donations. - vertigoblue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0how will a non-glowing vibrator be used as my only light source?
- felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"What sort of gift vibrates AND uses heavy water as a componant?"

- Philbert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What sort of gift vibrates AND uses heavy water as a componant?
- CompIsMyRx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0As I told my family this year; "Just get me money. It will take less time, and less returns, then you trying to figure out what I meant by a GeForce 7800 GTX PCI-E."
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Boring stuff.
- Sandkat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Not very funny at all. Pretty lame actually, no dig.

- h198x, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Sooo sick of this holiday. People exchange prepared lists of what they want, and then act surprised when they get it wrapped in colored paper. Dumb.
