- Doctoxicated, on 10/31/2008, -1/+111I do have to say that the Futurama DVD's are actually worth buying just because they're packed with tons of special features and bonuses... or at least actually stealing the old fashioned way.
- louse101, on 10/31/2008, -5/+100It's not that piracy would take ANYTHING away from the future of Futurama, but buying the discs could get it back on TV. We saw it with Family Guy, we could see ti with Futurama. I'll happily download it ahead of its release, but I'll sure as ***** be buying a copy when it is out in the hope that one day Bender Will Be Allowed Back On Television.

- whiteguysamurai, on 11/01/2008, -1/+56How the hell did this show get canceled?
What the hell is wrong with fox? - falafelkiosken, on 10/31/2008, -0/+52WWBS? What Would Bender Steal?
- GuitarHeroDenn, on 10/31/2008, -23/+70You wouldn't steal a handbag.
You wouldn't steal a car.
You wouldn't steal a baby.
You wouldn't shoot a policeman.
And then steal his helmet.
You wouldn't go to the toilet in his helmet.
And then send it to the policeman`s grieving widow...
AND THEN STEAL IT AGAIN!
Downloading films is stealing. If you do it, you WILL face the consequences. - RaptorChrist, on 11/01/2008, -2/+37IT Crowd FTW! (Hopes the American version won't be utter rubbish)
Futurama does not condone the cool crime of stealing! - bakkouz, on 10/31/2008, -8/+36http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4479021/Futurama_B ...
- keithloughnane, on 11/01/2008, -3/+30They also canceled firefly, a lot is wrong with fox.
- Darkhacker, on 11/01/2008, -0/+27Matt Groening's reverse psychology is actually working on me. I'm tempted to go out and buy the DVD. I'd be even more tempted if I knew the DVD didn't have DRM. After all, why should the legit buyer be annoyed by the anti-piracy message and DRM while the downloaders don't have to deal with those things? It would be like throwing all the good citizens in jail to protect them from the criminals on the streets.
- Sornos, on 10/31/2008, -0/+27Exactly. My mantra is that downloading is fine, but if you support the creator of the content and want more, buy what you downloaded.
- urgeigh, on 11/01/2008, -1/+24And that is why it pisses them off fasda. People aren't wasting their money on garbage.
- KibibyteBrain, on 11/01/2008, -2/+23@louse101 Blu-ray rips sort of suck. Cost benefit totally gone, and compression sort of destroys the point of blu-ray even if you maintain the higher resolution. Hate to say it, but for now, the man has got us beat when it comes to 1080p. But wasn't that the whole point when p2p first began, the ideology was to force the hand of hollywood and the record companies to surpass dinosaur technology by showing them that equal quality stuff could be distributed for free with consumer level tech, thereby forcing them to up the ante. Of course, they first responded with DRM which was not the idea, but now if they want to use ultra high quality, be my guest.
- inactive, on 11/01/2008, -5/+24The whole "You wouldn't steal a..." advert is a joke, they don't know that I wouldn't steal a handbag or a car or even a baby. It's all based on circumstance.
What if I need to escape the police man because I was being framed for a multitude of other crimes and I had to steal a handbag to get the keys of a car to drive to safety only the car had a baby in it? - twiztidsinz, on 11/01/2008, -1/+19But what if I WOULD steal a baby?
- OJXs, on 11/01/2008, -2/+18How the hell did family guy get in there?
- JayD16, on 11/01/2008, -3/+19But data/information is inherently different from physical goods.
- Darkangel754, on 11/01/2008, -0/+13'm gona make my own anti-piracy message! with black jack...and hookers! you know what?! forget the anti-piracy message!
- KibibyteBrain, on 11/01/2008, -3/+15Its no theft, its copyright infringement. They are very different. Hell, copyright is even a self-proclaimed artificial concept for the greater good, while possession and ownership are very real things.
- shrewduser, on 11/01/2008, -1/+13we pre ordered the DVD and got it in the mail 3 days ago, 2 days before it appeared on the pirate bay...
but seriously if you like futurama and want it around, please pay money for it, all the technically literate people download shows and that leads to less money for shows for our kind.... JUST LOOK AT TV NOW! - fasda, on 11/01/2008, -2/+14I download to find out if its worth buying a lot of the time its not worth it so I delete.
- Fanrir, on 11/01/2008, -1/+13Shows like Arrested Development, Futurama, Firefly, and Family Guy sometime require a little knowledge to get the jokes or plot. Most people that watch TV nowadays lack such common knowledge and therefore lack the capability to be amused in such a fashion. Therefore Fox resorts to shows such as AMERICAN IDOL, where bright lights and sometimes good looking people help entertain the average person.
- eliburford, on 11/01/2008, -1/+12It doesn't look so shiny to me.
- Sornos, on 11/01/2008, -1/+11Shinier than yours, meatbag.
- TheHayze, on 11/01/2008, -0/+10Anything as it seems. My kinda robot!
- nybble41, on 11/01/2008, -0/+8Not really. People choose whether to live in gated communities, and are free to leave whenever they want. Prisons are defined by exactly the opposite -- you're forced to go there, and not allowed to leave. The gates and walls themselves are neutral.
Schools, on the other hand... - TheCasablancan, on 11/01/2008, -1/+9What if you would EAT a baby?
- mitch37, on 11/01/2008, -4/+12IT Crowd spoof much better:
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=eAr7zKxjCDY - SuicideMouse, on 11/01/2008, -0/+8WTF?
- SubjectiveC, on 11/01/2008, -2/+10It's out already? Hey, thanks for the heads up! :D
- javaroast, on 11/01/2008, -2/+10It was not that long ago when many said DVD's would not be pirated because of how long it would take to download them and because of the high price of burnable DVD media.
- jtbell04, on 11/01/2008, -1/+8how is babby stealed?
- venom8599, on 11/01/2008, -0/+7The first was nice, but it felt like a forced attempt to reference as many parts of the series as possible. The second was very good, in my opinion. I didn't like the latest one very much--mostly because of the last 4th of the movie. It was so unoriginal. Also several years late as a parody. (Not naming what it's parodying so as not to post spoilers.)
- Trematode, on 11/01/2008, -5/+12I'd buy these movies in a heartbeat -- if they were any good.
Was a die-hard fan of the series, but these movies are all flops. For some reason the writing seems to fall flat in the feature length format. It's almost as bad as the new episodes of the simpsons. - an0nym0us, on 11/01/2008, -0/+6Stop confusing me!
- damien1989, on 11/01/2008, -0/+6I agree Doctoxicated, the special features are really cool and if you play around with the menu's you can find tons of Hidden features, it's cool!
- Pritchard, on 11/01/2008, -0/+6It's because these people, unlike their investors, aren't *****.
- rossinio, on 11/01/2008, -0/+6Animated stuff in 1080p (or even 720p) looks freaking incredible, crazy amounts of compression can be done on plain colours so the bulk of the detail (and bitrate) is in the drawn lines, which just makes everything looks amazing..
- ClevelandBrown, on 11/01/2008, -3/+9You suck.
- j3ff86, on 10/31/2008, -7/+12Can't wait for Tuesday to get it on Blu-ray!
- Sornos, on 11/01/2008, -3/+8This one has more seeds.

Larger file though. Choose your poison. - inactive, on 11/01/2008, -0/+5Got to agree... Family Guy is just poop jokes. Funny as hell poop jokes, but poop jokes none the less. Now that they have tried to throw political humor in there it sort of sucks.
- SuicideMouse, on 11/01/2008, -1/+6Prison...
...and a full stomach. - pw378, on 11/01/2008, -2/+7Its a cartoon, I never understood why someone would want super hi-def video of.... cartoons.. An awesome show, but seriously I don't think Groening draws and inks it in 1080p.
- MechaFalcon, on 11/01/2008, -0/+5Was that a completely random combination of rapidash and share?
- aadsm, on 11/01/2008, -0/+4what about the simpsons?
- inactive, on 11/01/2008, -1/+5ah *****. "We'll"? I just lost the game.
- asdfgafawer3, on 11/01/2008, -3/+7KibibyteBrain, explain how ownership is anything more than a concept, in your own words.
- pHr34kY, on 11/01/2008, -0/+41080p rendered vectors look awesome :)
