- snowthrower, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You people make me sick. Saying that since this is not tech news, it shouldnt be on Digg. Today is the anniversary of the worst attack on America and people are complaining that it shouldnt be on digg just because it isnt tech news. This is a exception and I'm sure KRose and the other digg staff would agree with me.
Also, If Peter Jennings can get 2000+ diggs, why cant the memory of those people who died get a digg?
Do you guys honestly have any heart? Shut the ***** up and dont digg it if you dont have anything to say or think this is stupid, you have no heart. - dogfighter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2God bless America
- TetrisKid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Liberals have not forgotten, trust me. They love America just as much as anyone."
Judging by the past 4 comments alone that is total *****. - PacoBell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@dean: What an ignorant and inflammatory statement! No country "deserves" terrorism anymore than any woman deserves rape. You, sir, need to reevaluate your morals.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Blogged, and everybody is encouraged to think and digg this to show support.

If Peter Jennings death can get diggs, why cant the death of thousands of US citizens get digged? - laffingleigh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Some of y'all do seem annoyed at the "Never Forget" idea. I can see where you're coming from, but I'm curious if Pearl Harbor was treated the same way. 4 years after, was it still fresh on American's mind and now we (as a new generation) don't understand the impact it had? I think this is really intriguing.

amen. - murdoc43, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"the president, said he thinks 9/11 has made federal service more attractive to private-sector professionals who had not considered working in government."
i don't know, but it seems like there's constant government back-slapping and recruitment overtones throughout this article. I guess. Sterile would be the word. no emotion. - gamerzworld, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ummmm digg took this off the front page. But old stories are still on there. Wtf Kevin? Dont your care?
- jjb123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Bush is s good president, Clinton should have took care of them when they started making training camps. Really, its the terrists falt, they did it.
- Kakalaka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I get tired of the never forget crap too, I saw it every day for 2 months on every news channel, 9/11 this, 9/11 that, I have a heart, and feel for the people, but should we really make it widespread to remind everyone every year. Katrina is getting the same way, and Katrina really pisses me off cause of a buncha damn folk shooting at choppers, cops and what not, shoot them and a few innocent bystanders, they will get put in their place.
- XxN3RDC0R3xX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@Snowthrower-
No, it is not an exception. This is a tech news site. Nothing more. We don't need people telling us to never forget. DON'T WORRY. NOBODY WILL.
@TetrisKid-
Don't judge millions of people by a few comments of a few people. Simple as that. - PimpMoDee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm all for support. But how about gramatically correct support?
- galfridus73, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This isn't tech, folks. We all recognize the impact the attacks on 9/11 had on the US and the world, but posting this here is nothing more than begging for a flame war. No digg.
- TheNik, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Indeed.
Nor is this tech news or something we wont see forever on the news.
STFU PLZ - Gills, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1"Four Years After 9/11 We still have never forgotten"
the "still" is redundant. or did i miss something? - Codom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It was about 10 years after the dececration of Saudi Arabia.
- xodex, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0We tried to tell our government this LOL, they don't listen... So you attack our public instead? hmmm.
- scribebox, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2*puts on tin foil hat*
the bush administration did it.
they were also responsible for katrina.. using a weather device developed by HP in the 1960's. - wai_xing_ren, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1How about I just choke myself?
- TinMan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1 skyhighrockets, I believe he was being sarcastic. Also people have forgotten. They are called liberals, and are fighting for "terrorist rights".
- skyhighrockets, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1"they were also responsible for Katrina.. using a weather device developed by HP in the 1960's"
wtf? that was a natural disaster, no is no way in the world anyone could have stopped it.
And flat out saying that our president was the cause of 9/11, that is absolutly ubsurd. You honestly think he was behind 2,752 deaths? - wisewaif, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1***** 9/11. Live for now.
- DFrag, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'm a conservative! I repeat what hannity-limbaugh-o'reilly say. I have no ideas of my own. Look at me! Im an idealogical zombie! blah blah blah, clintons fault!
/head explodes - rawr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This is simply stupid.
- frankwit, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I just want everyone to work on their grammar and spelling skills. At least click the check spelling button, otherwise the terrorists win.
- asdfasdf, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Four years and we still didn't get revenge. Sigh.
- chrome0011, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1@tinman--
You are a tard. It's not "terrorist rights", it's CIVIL RIGHTS. Or perhaps you think its ok to hold an American in prison indefinately without charges... read a history book. Or the Constitution. Get a clue as to why we broke off from England.
p.s. NOT TECH NEWS!!! THIS DIGG IS GHEY. - Walker2323, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1www.whatreallyhappened.com
Bush allowed it to happen. Period. - theratdotus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0geez... isnt this government supposed to be christian run....isnt a fundemental aspect of the religion to forgive, no matter how much someone has hurt you... i think we are still only saying we will never forget to sooth the minds of people who lost loved ones during this huge construction project... funny how so many building owned by one guy fell and nothing else did.... this whole 9/11 thing makes me happy we can buy semi automatic weapons so we can take back our lands from these companies that use us like finger pupets...VIVA LA REVOLUTION! (shameless nintendo promoter)
- DFrag, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1How many members of the Bush Administration are needed to change a light bulb?
The Answer is TEN…
1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed,
2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed,
3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb,
4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either for changing the light bulb or for eternal darkness,
5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the newlight bulb,
6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a step ladder under the banner “Bulb Accomplished,
7. One administration insider to resign and in detail reveal how Bush was literally “in the dark the whole time,
8. One to viciously smear #7.
9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light-bulb-changing policy all along.
10. And finally, one to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country. - XxN3RDC0R3xX, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0This has nothing to do with tech....don't waste our time.
Liberals have not forgotten, trust me. They love America just as much as anyone. I don't think anyone in this country has forgotten. Such a big event is nearly impossible to forget. - theenginedriver, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I don't understand how someone can submit a description so wrought with poor wording, poor spelling and poor punctuation and not feel at least a little dopey.
Rember 9/11? Sure, as soon as I figure out what that means. - Play, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I'm sick of people saying "never forget", as if the biggest terrorist attack in my lifetime will just slip my mind one day. ***** them.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0never forget

-mrglass - Al3xander, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0"America deserved it."
wtf?
nobody, nobody deserves being killed the way it happen on 9/11.
an if I recall correctly 9/11 happend before the invasion of Iraq. - evilpig, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I agree
- Smokezz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0skyhighrockets: Man, you need to go buy a new sarcasm detector... And yeah, this is why Digg shouldn't win that "Best Tech Site" thing... this stuff shouldn't be on here.
- the_blob, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0This whole "never forget" ***** makes me sick.
- generalleoff, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0yawn. you people are morons.
- ketsugi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Get over it and move on, geez. And stop sacrificing your civil liberties for the sake of continued paranoia.
- KidVicious, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I forgot, what is 9/11 exactly?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0It happened 4 years ago let it go.
- arte, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Gay
- digital_ice, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0bush is doing a great job and u guys are liberal fags
- dean, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0America deserved it. Not only did the government not learn, but made things worse by invading two sovereign nations. And let's not mention the Patriot Act and the freedoms it diminishes.
If you want to stop terrorism, tell your government to stop bullying other countries.
