At least there's the about:config to make use of.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -41/+2And Firefox users once again rant and rave, despite the fact that IE 7 is wiping the floor with them and already reclaiming the market share that Firefox stole in the last few years.
Did you guys know that Firefox's market share has dropped two percentage points since IE 7 became available for download? Did you know growth all but stopped when the IE 7 betas came out?
In the end, Firefox, if it's remembered at all, will be remembered for getting Microsoft to come out with IE 7 a bit faster than it would have otherwise.
