    He should have thought about making it with a window so you can see in the wooden case + make it possible to use the buttons when it's inside the case. Now, it's a friggin box that cost too much for nothing.

  • CardinalFang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4There's not much done to the wood that warrants a $100 price tag. All you need is a chisel, a router with the bit set to a shallow depth, and some sandpaper. You could go to a lumber yard and ask for a couple of scraps from a 2x4 that they have no use for.

I thought from the article title this was some kind of wonderful replacement case and expected to see, basically, a 'wooden iPod'. What a disappointment.

    But I'm thinking wood will scratch it. I mean I'm sure they wouldn't release a I-pod holder that demolishes your screen but I'm sure its not the best thing for it.
