- unicornhunter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+84How about being able to undo a comment diggdown. Those 2 button, diggup and diggdown are so close together. I know I have clicked the wrong one many many times.
- jsreid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+65we should be able to reply to replys.
- sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -2/+51I'd like posts made by attractive female diggers to appear in pink, but only to me.
- h0zae, on 10/12/2007, -1/+29AWESOME - a digg-like site about digging features you would like to see on digg
- dunezone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20I always thought about having those dugg up/down counted on your profile, I can see that being a total kill on the server possibly, but this could also motivate people to consider what they are saying when they comment.
- JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19Not sure how it would work but a feature to see what people are digging who digg like me... Like if I digg 10 stories and a bunch of people also digg those, what else are they digging? I don't want to have to check out each user individually...
- AlanKc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Id rather see it be a Microsoft section..
- flag564, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19How about a Windows section?
- sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -6/+18Oh and if we could have some sort of bold text for people who post about 9/11 conspiracies that would be super helpful too, as I'm always looking for good ones.
- headzoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12There's only one thing I want: An official Digg forums.
- tastethevenom, on 10/12/2007, -6/+17Ditto! Also, it might be overkill, but moving beyond just thumbs would be useful to me. For instance, for certain stories I immediately want the "funny" or "informative" comments. And this would be one imperative mark for some: "sarcastic". : )
*Submits to FeVote*
Rose and Co., please pay attention to this site... thanks! - Carlsb3rg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Nice idea.. registration not so nice.
- zeldafan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I want to be able to stop the page after loading 100 or so comments, I usually go through digg homepage and click on a story and their comments at the same time, opening in tabs, any story with too many comments takes forever to load and will often stall my browser, a real pain in the ass to me (and I'll presume other people who have a few tabs open at any given time)
- tamoneya, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9local/regional stories. There could be a region option added to user profile then you would see stories from that region as well as global stories.
- subxero37, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I would love a "Limit to X comments per page", where X is user-definable, and a Next Page button will be displayed at the bottom of each page, logically.
Digg articles with massive numbers of comments take forever to load and are hell to navigate. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Perhaps they are preventing you from voting 34 times for what you want?
- SundayTrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7oops, wrong thread
(how about a cancel button after some idiot like me posts to the wrong place) - charlesroldan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7link to duggmirror's cache?
- doodirock2, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9How about no more pligg sites on digg.
- spiderland, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Block blog sites, so that people would have to link to source articles.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7yeah... it'd be useful if you could use your Digg login, or didn't have to register. personally, i don't care enough to register for a site i'll probably visit only once and never again. dugg down as lame.
- hambend, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5But... they already have a site like digg. It's called digg. Why not just add a "suggestions" category to it?
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -9/+13Login required.
- lazlonger, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6a g'dang "TOP" button at the bottom of every comments page.......sheesh....get on it! only been asking for FOREVER....
- thiagoleon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah, its to prevent site abuse. Perhaps digg.com could make this feature section, so you could use the same digg id to vote...
- tastethevenom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4http://www.fevote.com/story.php?title=New-topic-Windows-operating-system
- JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3sometimes the blog site is the source, or the blog has a cool opinion... though i hear you as far as people self-promoting their blogs... only thing worse is the 9/11 spammer
- Falldog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@ Avili
Flame wars / fanboy section? "Feel like talking crap? Do it here where everyone else can ignore you" lol - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2
But... they already have a site like digg. It's called digg. Why not just add a "suggestions" category to it?
feedback@digg.com - teresa73521, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Along those lines, I would like my "friends" comments highlighted (a different color) to make them easier to find.
- YellowBook, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Pity they don't share the same user database as the main Digg site.
It would be useful to check which users have made certain suggestions by clicking on the submitter's username to drill through to their Digg profile page. This would help people voting on the suggestion get an indication of how the submitter currently uses Digg and to help get behind any possible underlying motives for wanting certain functionality. - RVSTY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think they should seriously consider implementing some sort of bookmarking system. I'm a Digg addict (adiggted?) but I don't always have the time to read the articles I find interesting before I digg them. Usually I just read the descriptions and if it sounds interesting I'll digg it as a means of saving it. This way I won't have to go through every page looking for interesting reads more than once a day and can save all the good reads until the weekend when I have the time to read them. Am I the only one who does this?
- tastethevenom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I thought we'd see something like that before the new year. I remember Kevin saying at one time in 2006 that they were focusing their efforts on the Friends feature.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2how about a link to the next page at the TOP of the page? anyone else ever wish they didn't have to scroll down to hit page 2?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sweet idea, tho I doubt it will get much attention from the digg admins in the early stages..
How about making a site to suggest features for fevote.com, like a better logo : ) - Jerky1312, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7How about a filter for sites simply trying to ride on digg's wave? Fevote.com for example.
- tastethevenom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Registering is a pain in the ass, I know. I use bugmenot often. But when it comes to voting, it's a necessary step.
I plan on putting FeVote into use for other web-based services (Meebo, Netvibes to name a couple), so I have high hopes that this won't be the last time you login to FeVote. - flag564, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6"Auto ban of users with ridiculously high negative-to-positive digg comment ratios."
Ah, the fascist option. The perfect way of ridding Digg of non Apple users, and Republicans.
And exactly who defines what a troll is, because the working definition to dimwits like Quix is anyone that doesn't agree with him, and are not ashamed of it.
At least Kevin Rose still believes in free speech! - GnuTzu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was able to register with an email alias (mailnull.com) a week ago and, so far, no spam. So, It's not that bad having to register.
- Yage2006, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Id love to see the ability to change the background and text colors the white background is hard to look at after a while.
- iliketokick, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Is it really that hard to go find all these websites on the internet without Digg? That site's about putting what people want on Digg. I don't think he's asking for too much by asking for a "Top" button.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2they can't use digg register because that site is not run by digg, and digg is unlikely to let you access its userbase. I'm thinking the above site will get homepaged, and then in a week or two it will be replaced with a made for adsense site.
- Hindu_Wardrobe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've been wanting some forums for a looong time. That would own.
- johnie1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1digg as a topic
- JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3is it really that hard to scroll?
- GnuTzu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There is a firefox plugin for highlighting your comments (if you don't mind a plugin).
- knight17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A little more big avatars and icons please. It will be nice if digg has some themes and like.I am also dreaming when would i will be able to see reccomeded stories based on the items i've digged/visited , categories that I pay most attention etc.
- m3mn0n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Buried as spam.
- netburnr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Agreed, I will not use this site because it requires registration.
- netferret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think they add competitions section for photoshop, audio and user videos. It would be fun to see what people come up with.
