- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+63Oh, internet.
- netburnr, on 10/10/2007, -2/+58Who cares about the ones in the description, there are already 3 episodes of Weeds!
- math0ne, on 10/10/2007, -0/+50Its a intentional leak...
- evilpig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+364 now.
- chris9902, on 10/10/2007, -2/+372 new eps of Dexter got released a couple of weeks back. If you've not watched season 1 you should check it out. It's very good.
- MikeonTV, on 10/10/2007, -5/+30Thanks for telling me. I probably wouldn't have every known that. Now I too can download these episodes rather than wait like a sucker.
- SoulMaster2, on 10/10/2007, -5/+21Who cares about those shows, where's House?
- Ojoo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13Let me know when The Office gets leaked. Thanks.
- areohbe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10DL'd and watched the following about a week ago...
Bionic Woman- It was cool...although it probably won't hold my interest in the long run
Pushing Daisies- Very strange! Almost seems like a Tim Burton movie, with odd characters, unique camera movements, and a death-filled plot. Won't watch.
Reaper- Also strange, but shot more like Malcom in the Middle... I may watch this steadily.
Cavemen- Dumb, that's all... - BigCalhoun, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Actually, more like to test the waters. Word-of-mouth advertising has worked well for the movie industry. Only makes sense that other mediums jump on the bandwagon and try to capitalize.
- chris9902, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11I forgive you.... for now.
- windwaker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10heroes finale sucked
- benitojuarez, on 10/10/2007, -12/+21***** you, the ONLY reason futurama is coming back is from dvd SALES being off the charts. Not dvd piracy. Damn torrent kiddies.
- OUPablo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Yeah, that and because Futurama is awesome To The Max
- expert01, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9hammer time
- Yousty, on 10/10/2007, -5/+14I download a lot of TV shows until they're released on DVD and then I go buy the DVDs and delete them off my computer because that is the only way of having them before they're released on disc. I would download the new Futurama DVDs if they got released and not feel bad for a second because I bought all four box sets and will buy the new DVDs whenever they're released.
So before you go telling this guy to "***** off" why not think about the fact that he may do the same thing. - Vlatro, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Everyone is questioning the producers for releasing the shows. So what if they did? Who cares. The motives behind writing an article and posting it to digg are more intresting. Who wants to bet the author of the article was trying to download them for the last week, but couldn't get enough seeds. Tell the masses, problem solved with over 8000 new people downloading and seeding. Good work.
- matriculated, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8More people must see this show.
- mindblaze, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7the companies themselves probaly released these to get a little more advertising
- drlha, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Pushing Daisies looks great.
- danielsan1701, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Plenty of new shows have had their first episode as a free download on iTunes. This is just another market.
- 1jaxstate1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7I wouldn't want to be the one who gets caught uploading these shows early.
- Topher06, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6I think its obvious the networks are "playing" with us. I can't see all of a sudden this upcoming season as being one of the worsts fall seasons to be "leaked" on the net. Something tells me that Hollywood is starting to figure out how to use the net for viral marketing, so leaking some anticipated shows might be seen as a way of encouraging excitment and hype about their upcoming television series.
If anything, it could be an effective cost savings tool. If a show is leaked and discussed upon on the net, and people hate it, then why bother making more then a few episodes, or even airing it.
I don't believe for an instant that all these shows were just leaked as an accident. - mrlost117, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7MUSIC hits me.. so hard, makes me say o-my-lawd
- Metalmoon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Dexter is a great friggin show
- birdadderley, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7the ":(" at the end of his comment gave it away... that and the Asian symbols on his profile pic...
- windwaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5are you guys seriously that dumb? you do know that TPB is based out of Sweden, right?
- Battleloser, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8I accidentally buried you, meant to digg you up.

- Juansito, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Nothing like seeing the whole summer of weeds before it airs on TV.
- rheaume, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I love this show, sometimes on a Friday night I cruise the digg comments, trying to imagine who would be a good victim for my own serial killings
- LNahid2000, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4This happens every summer around this time. I've been watching TV Pilots for the last 3 summers to see what I want to watch in the fall. From the pilots leaked so far, I'll be watching Bionic Woman, Chuck, Reaper and Aliens in America
- alai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Don't watch it! It's just as bad as a popup ad!
Seriously it's stuff I am interested in. Why not? Who cares if it's promotional for the series' if they are good they are good. - penneyisok, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Did anyone notice in episode 4 how there a few unfinished things. It just says "End Credits" when the credits normally roll and when Nancy is listening to U-Turns voice-mail for a couple seconds its some other dudes voices. Makes me wonder if any other things might changed when it actually airs.
Just hope they keep on coming! - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I've gotten into quite a few new shows this way, and began watching them on normal TV when new episodes air. So it may not be such a bad thing for shows that are actually good.
- Battleloser, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Minority suspect! Minority suspect! Danger, he's got a gun!
- pickleprince, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4You think the networks might have done this on purpose?
- tunapez, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6They're playing "whack-a-mole"? More like follow the leader...Moore's Sicko doubled epected earnings the 1st weekend after being leaked two weeks prior to the premier. Hmmmm, feint within a feint within a feint I presume.
- Konrad9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Dear TV dumbass executives,
If you don't hold a show for three ***** months before airing it, I'll watch it on TV.
Case in point: Stargate.
SG1 aired early in the UK, SGA aired early in Canadia.
If it had aired simultaneously in the US, I would have watched every single episode on TV in the past two seasons, instead of four episodes. - andr3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3This is just a clever way to get even more seeders! Cool trick and thanks. :D
- StrikerObi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Shotime's Californication has leaked also, and it's freakin' amazing.
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3And two episodes of Dexter.
- windwaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3yeah, it wasn't complete.
I think we'll only get four of that show, sadly, because we got 4 pre-airs last year. :( - purpledrank, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Only if Heroes was leaked too :(
- DMDekoth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Actually, yes, theres not much of a difference between watching it whether it's supplied from the internet or your cable/satellite/DVR. It's not gonna be magically better (only the quality could change) or have magical spoilers just because it has ads every fifteen minutes. Theres no point in looking for spoilers, but it's not a spoiler if you're just seeing what you would have saw in months to come, earlier.
- Gerchak, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3The networks are doing it on purpose. If the shows are any good, they'll generate buzz in the Internet community, which will eventually spread to other people and the shows will gain interest from word-of-mouth.
- sjbdallas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Agreed. This is what happens when every marketing department puts someone in charge of "viral marketing". They do crap like this.
- jtb4, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yeah, They are not operating illegally. They would be illegal in the US but they aren't here. Also, if the government there tries to shut them down by say, blocking their IP address then they would probably just move their servers to Sealand, which is a micronation. For another thing they are only hosting torrent trackers- not the actual movies, which are served up from thousands of machines all over the world. Finally, no DDoS or hack attack is likely to disrupt their service because you're dealing with some pretty serious programmers there (at least in terms of network engineering). Soooooo, looks like the Pirate Bay is here to stay, and I'm glad.
- NullzipZero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It is just a guerrilla marketing campaign to hype the shows.
I bet it is going to be very successful campaign too -
