- adambadam, on 12/30/2008, -8/+326Is it wrong if I only clicked this story hoping for a photo?
- locondcoco, on 12/30/2008, -27/+293why would any mother want to post that?
- iloveobama, on 12/30/2008, -19/+223Posting breastfeeding pics on facebook? Classy
- ismschisms, on 12/30/2008, -26/+175Urine coming out of my penis is a natural thing too, but you don't see me making a fuss about not being allowed to post it on my profile.
- Pake, on 12/30/2008, -16/+140Attention whores.
- ashwinmudigonda, on 12/30/2008, -31/+151I guess one way to look at it is : Rules are rules. You cannot bend them. Yes, breastfeeding is a benign and a special act....but in the end if you are showing your boobs, it is against the rules. The rules have nothing against thongs and therefore, however ass-xposure it might be, it is within the bounds.
Breast-feeding moms, please, why? You have produced a miracle and no doubt that mole rat sucking on your ***** is your pride and joy. But why should you share the pictures so? Do you not know that that son/daughter will have his/her profile in about 2 years or so and then roll his/her eyes each time his/her friends tag him right on the tit? - mvarre, on 12/30/2008, -9/+116i wonder if people will ever run out of things to bitch and complain about.
- outoforder, on 12/30/2008, -14/+112We must protect our children from the reality of life. They must not see a baby sucking nipples under any circumstance!
Seriously, this is ridiculous. Our culture is evolving into an overprotective, whiny, nanny state. - Wolfcaster, on 12/30/2008, -7/+104this sucks
- ashlocke, on 12/30/2008, -0/+84I never understood why nipples are so harmful. Care to enlighten me?
It's hilarious to see those cable reality T.V. shows where the women take off their shirt and 95% of the breast is shown(top and bottom), but there is an inch thick censor bar going across JUST the nipple! - Sean23, on 12/30/2008, -3/+81What's wrong with nipples? Men can post shirtless pictures of themselves and they have nipples. I say we allow women to do the same.
- k3rfuffl3, on 12/30/2008, -8/+84In any case women shouldn't get angry if someone stares.
- FreddieD, on 12/30/2008, -3/+74Faceb( . Y . )k
- ninjasandshiz, on 12/30/2008, -20/+80why are women putting pictures of themselves breast feeding on a social networking site in the first place?
- thirdeyeopen, on 12/30/2008, -7/+63Good lord, America needs to get out of puberty already.
- inactive, on 12/30/2008, -5/+60The only thing I find more silly and puerile than women who want to post pictures of themselves breastfeeding on the Internet are the puritans who try to stop them.
- operasara, on 12/30/2008, -18/+68So stop looking. You wouldn't notice if you weren't looking at her boobs in the first place.
- captaindigger, on 12/30/2008, -5/+54Thank you, Facebook for keeping us all safe from the breast feeding women. Now if you could just do the same for all the ***** groups, profiles, apps and Facebook in general, then you would be doing us all a real favor.
- Takfam, on 12/30/2008, -2/+50It's seeming more and more to me that (at least in the US,) governments' views on indecency and obscenity amount to "If a man can masturbate to it, it's indecent and/or obscene."
If anyone tells them about Rule 34, we're screwed. - hawkspur, on 12/30/2008, -45/+91Honestly women have a right to breast feed, but I really don't want to watch. It's just like a guy picking his nose or something in public.
- bundwallah, on 12/30/2008, -17/+59Puritanism strikes again.
- oninbonin, on 12/30/2008, -2/+43Picking your nose isn't natural? I beg to differ. I would say that harvesting cotton and building a whole warehouse full of machines to manufacture tissue paper that you buy with money that you earned at a deskjob with which to pick your nose is unnatural.
- caffeineme, on 12/30/2008, -6/+45Facebook is a private company, offering a free service. They are free to set their own terms of usage, and what's appropriate or not. If your photos are deemed inappropriate, they have every right to remove them.
If you feel you MUST post these photos for the world to see, godaddy.com will be happy to help you setup your own site, where you can do as you please (I do not work for godaddy, so chill).
Using someone else's free service basically means you are at their mercy in terms of what's appropriate. Get over it ladies. - Sean23, on 12/30/2008, -4/+40What if you've got a booger in your nose and no tissue around?
- sexybobo, on 12/30/2008, -5/+40And macing people who ask for a drink is just uncalled for.
- puppyfox, on 12/30/2008, -0/+33It would go something like this "When I was your age we had so many things to bitch and complain about. Now nothing! This is unacceptable!"
- Spire3660, on 12/30/2008, -5/+38Why would you care either way? People's obsession with not seeing certain parts of others' bodies is astonishing. Is the human body so grotesque that we must be shamed into covering it from birth to death. Sometimes i really wonder how we have survived this long as a species.
- OriginalReplica, on 12/30/2008, -2/+34Baby should be provided with a protective blindfold, so they can't see themselves breastfeeding! Ahhhhh! a nipple! AHHHHH! That dog has eight nipples!!
- Hicks007, on 12/30/2008, -5/+37no.

Extreme Breastfeeding: When to Stop? - moracity, on 12/30/2008, -5/+35To share with their friends? People post photos of bottle feeding babies as well. They should ban that, then. It's none of your business why people post particular photos.
Why do people post photos of themselves with underwear on their heads or deepthroating a beer bottle? If you think breastfeeding is comparable to that, you are ignorant.
I could understand more if Facebook profiles were open to everyone, but they aren't. I've seen the photos that were removed and none of them showed the *gasp* nipple. There is nothing in the terms that says breastfeeding photos are not allowed. They certainly have the right to adjust the terms to add that exclusion. - izackcarson, on 12/30/2008, -15/+42Feeding a child is not rude. If a kid needs to eat, it needs to eat. It will not wait on your pleasure. Your discomfort comes from your own mind, not the act itself. You have been conditioned to see something yucky about breastfeeding. That's a shame.
- Tainek, on 12/30/2008, -26/+53I find it disgusting that people are so offended by such a natural act. You should be ashamed at yourselves for allowing puritanical society to brainwash you into turning something beautiful into a shameful act.
Its just a lump of flesh people, get over yourselves... - jvincent08, on 12/30/2008, -1/+28It's not *necessary* to post any pictures at all, but that doesn't mean they should all be forbidden.
- mmockett, on 12/30/2008, -14/+41It's not like a guy picking his nose, because it's not gratuitous. It's necessary, natural, and if the baby wasn't being fed, you'd be whining that it was crying.
- uselessracing, on 12/30/2008, -1/+27Oh, those are real.
- forladiesonly, on 12/30/2008, -28/+54i don't see why they wouldn't be allowed as long as there's no nipples showing. nothing wrong with a little mouth-on-titty action
- greenlight2001, on 12/30/2008, -3/+28I think it was fantastit...er, fantastic!
....
***** - mistermaster, on 12/30/2008, -5/+30They demand you to see it? What, they send you spam with breastfeeding pictures?
- WiretapStudios, on 12/30/2008, -8/+31Just because I have to naturally take a piss doesn't mean it's ok to either do it in full public, or post pictures of it online.
- BillDauterive, on 12/30/2008, -1/+24With the high price of enfamil, I strongly recommend they keep breast feeding as long as possible.
- inactive, on 12/31/2008, -1/+24If you saw a picture of a flat chested woman and a skinny guy with their shirts off, what would be the difference? What makes one picture obscene and the other not? Just because of gender? That sounds a lot like old-world thinking.
It's surprising that it's still the social norm in these advanced times.
Afterall, the first thing we see in life is a vagina and the first thing we put in our mouths is a nipple. It's not like you're "exposing" anything anyone hasn't seen before. - clharlem149, on 12/30/2008, -1/+23i don't understand why breastfeeding has to be one of two extremes: either it's ugly/sexual/indecent, or its beautiful. i can't remember the last time i heard that someone over the age of 3 eating was "beautiful" (though i guess i cant say as much about the negative end). it's just a baby eating. saying it's beautiful just makes it sound like it's an act that's meant to be on display. saying it's any type of negative is just dumb (unless there's some strange case of a woman going about breastfeeding her baby in an indecent way...i hope not). get over yourselves. all of you.
- antistupid, on 12/30/2008, -9/+29i would like to see these "massive debates"
- analogkid01, on 12/30/2008, -1/+21Breast comment-- er, best comment ever.
- B3000, on 12/30/2008, -34/+53I'm sorry, but as much as I like boobs I can't stand that breast feeding mothers feel the need to do it in front of everyone and show it off to everyone. My ex worked in a restaurant where women would - quite regularly - breast feed at the table in front of all the other customers without even covering with a cloth or anything. It is just rude.
Yes, babies are wonderful and breast feeding is natural, but there is such a thing as manners. Sex is beautiful and natural too but you wouldn't do that in front of people trying to eat their lunch. - petebot, on 12/30/2008, -6/+25The reason I don’t dig the whole public breastfeeding thing is because I’ll get a dirty look from the papa for casually looking at his wife before I realize that the tit is out.
