- FuZi0nDET, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1What they are doing pisses me off as an American and Sirius subscriber, these yahoos want to bastardize both companies. To me this issue highlights how both sides of the isle are no different than the other. Just looking at what is going on with this deal shows us exactly why our government needs a major overhaul.
Part of the reason why satellite radio kicks so much ass is the fact that there is no censorship. People are FREE to speak their minds, how about that concept? The Bush administration and the FCC have destroyed free radio with their fascist like censorship and now they want to destroy paid satellite radio.
What's even more ridiculous is the fact that the government rubber stamped the Exxon Mobile deal in no time, now look at gas prices! Sirius and XM are struggling to stay alive this merger is going to make sure there is a satellite radio available in the future. - Four20, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1I heard the restrictions Adelstein wants to put on Sirius. . .it's just not right. . .
