EFF takes on RIAA on making available theory

Howell, an Arizona, case in which a defendant with no lawyer has been battling the RIAA over its claim that merely 'making files available' is in and of itself a copyright infringement, Mr. Howell has received some help from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an amicus brief agreeing with him and contradicting the RIAA.
