  • grimjestor, on 10/12/2007, -3/+21having read (and thoroughly enjoyed) the book freakonomics (sp?), i believe that the author was referring to street-level dealers working for inner-city gangs, whereas this humor article is surely referring to someone a bit higher up the chain... but hey, who's to say? great book, though. everyone should read it, and i don't know anything about economics (or proper grammar, spelling, or sentence structure, to name a few other things...)

    buy a zip for 250
    sell some eights @ 50 each
    revenue: $400
    profit: 150.

    150 every day or so is pretty damn good for not doing anything.

    also, that's only with one zip; buying quaps and pounds gets exponentially more lucrative

I saw a old documentary on the original geeks who are developing computers, systems and programs old and new.It was not uncommon back in the sixties for these guys to get together and swap info and drugs on a regular basis.
