  • mjsfl, on 01/20/2008, -0/+4Nice post. I don't think Loserpages is even capable of honesty. That whole Dreamhost-bashing blog post they did is a fabricated scam to sucker in new victims/customers.

    You know you've hit a new low when on the day a competitor makes a multi-million dollar mistake, they're still a better choice than you.

    They've gotta be the most deceptive host out there.

    Also, it seems they've blocked me from accessing any website hosted there. I have a few clients that are gonna be ticked off over that but I do have other resources for access.
    Way to go LP. Keep on heading down that low road.

I guess what it really comes down to is honesty and knowing that Dreamhost will do what they can to fix their issues. I once had a job interview with LunarPages at the same time I interviewed for Dreamhost, but after checking out LunarPages's reputation and the way they worked (judging from the interview), I decided to work with Dreamhost. I'm currently not working there, since I had to move away, but it's a great company, and it's very customer driven. That's just my .02

  • MerlinsMinute, on 01/21/2008, -0/+3Thing is, this also gives them plenty of SEO opportunities in however a bad light that may turn out to be. I guess BAD PR is better than no PR at all. Suppose it depends on the way they (LP) looks at it.
    Like I said in my post: "If these two were the only two left to go with for web hosting? My choice would be easy! Dream Host all the way! I’ll take light-hearted honesty over low-browed deceit any time. Wouldn’t you?"

  • banananutmuffin, on 01/22/2008, -0/+2What I hate about Lunar Pages is that they're creating this web hosting war with an unwilling "enemy." That is enough for me to never want to consider hosting with them, because I'd rather stay with a host that has morals and humor, instead of a company that gets a raging hardon for spreading propaganda against their competitor.
