    These aren't time promotions. Digg is full of make believe posts, trying to deceive.

    Here is the honest truth!

    DreamHost gives you $97 for referring a person, and you can share that discount with them. So $97 is the maximum discount you can give. People will earn $0 for direct commissions. So why do they promote these codes? Because if you refer people, we get $5 each time you get a sale.

    Don't be deceived by people that say: "my code is better than yours". The truth is all $97 discount codes are equal, and are the best available.
    All others ($90, $87, $50 will just give money to the code's owner).

    Mine is MAXIMUMPROMO and it's equal to all others true $97 discount promos.
    I won't earn anything from you. Only if you get some sales.

    Just use the code 777 to get their special 7 year anniversary pricing. I believe it is $110 for 2 years and $10 for 1 year at their "Crazy Domain Insane!" level hosting. That ends up being $4.50 a month and $0.83 a month respectively.

    If you want to give more money to someone only offering a $30 or $40 discount, and pay more to Dreamhost for your service, you have the right to, but the maximum codes can give you as much as $97 off. (Month to month service doesn't offer the same discount as a year; month to month Level 1 is $50 off, for instance; but a year of Level 1 is about $23 with a maximum code, due to the $97 discount.)

    Just be forewarned. If you're not getting the maximum discount off your code, then the person who made the code is getting that free lunch from Dreamhost.
