- trunkster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I rather use the itunes library for cd covers, they are a lot higher resolution (well the new ones at least).
http://tpemble.urfbownd.net/itunes/ - newbix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dan, it basically does that WE know but it eliminates time used to search for the album..
Look @ it this way:
Old Way:
1. go to amazon.com
2. type in artist name/album title
3. click on the result.
4. click on the cover
5. right click save the image
This Way:
1. visit site
2. type in url
3. save image - ifonly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"It justs grabs the image from amazon..."
But it saves you for having to go to amazon, search for the artist, find the album, find the album image, and then find the large album image.
It saves you time :) - eyepodder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Checkout http://cdcovers.cc

- urbanaut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Makes it easier to get album art for my iPod, cool.
- rudhdogg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Easier/more automated way.......if you're gonna settle with Amazon album art, this makes it easier for those of you who use iTunes.
iTunes album art importer: http://www.yvg.com/itunesartimporter.shtml
I prefer getting the hi-res album art from iTunes itself, like others have already said......you just basically go to the album in iTunes music store, right click on the album title and "Copy iTunes music store URL".....and take it here:
http://data.uneasysilence.com/uneasydata/assets/itunes/itunesalbumart.php
Now if only there was a program that automates the album art process using iTunes music store instead of Amazon...... - MrPhelps, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why use AJAX on a site which obviously does not need it ? Geek factor I guess, but makes the site less usable for some people.
Besides it does not work, it didn't find anything for "supreme" :P - mc1123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1you know, it would be nicer if they had more than one selection for each search. Otherwise, digg for sure
- ikkebra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1amaroK already does this for you
- kualla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1""I give it 5 hours before the RIAA is knocking on their door"
Explain please?"
I think the RIAA will want this closed down because it makes it EASIER to download the album cover... They never really went after people recording songs off the radio to casette but once MP3's came out where it was very easy to get your music then they became aggressive. I really kind of doubt it but wouldn't be a bit surprised if they do try and go after this site. They have more than enough power and everyone knows they like being the bully of the internet so who knows... - ifonly, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"I give it 5 hours before the RIAA is knocking on their door"
Explain please? - dncnyoyo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My favorite app that does the same and writes it to the file.
http://louhi.kempele.fi/~skyostil/projects/albumart/ - NuWeb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0:) THIS SITE ROX!..
(cc rulez) ... This is very handy, for getting CD COVERS..
P.S. F**** the RIAA. - DiGiTaLFX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The GodFather is the best cover finder I've used!
- geeoye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All the images are from Amazon.com. Anyone can go to amazon and print those images.
- lon3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0excellent!
- compu73rg33k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Nice interface, shame it doesn't work in Opera..."
More like shame on Opera for being behind the times by lacking support for xmlhttprequest. Opera is gay.
For everyone who's saying it's lame becuase there's another one, then ***** google, yahoo, and all the others that weren't the first to make a search engine. OMG ALREADY BEEN DONE! - your_mom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is so much better for itunes than that one wher eu had to find it in teh iTMS and copy the image URL then paste it into the box at the site to find it
- Neronix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A lot of the stuff I listen to is too obscure for Amazon. Proved further when I had no search results with this.
images.google.com always does the trick - dimwell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This thing is a waste of time.
Try finding a cover for Skinny Puppy's "Last Rights". You get a 100x100 thumbnail. That's WORTHLESS. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anything similar for dvd covers?
- cawpin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Amazon is way too low res. Itunes Album art is much better if they have it.
- novabeatnik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is swell. Remember sitting and listening to an album while looking at the cover that is what the music industry needs to give us. That experience will make people go back to the stores.
- crickton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wouldn't it be the MPA instead of the RIAA? dunno who gets the dibs off of the cover art, but last I checked the MPA were the ones going off of tabulature and lyrical sites.
- mojo.ash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0you can use it directly?
http://www.findmycover.com/cover.php?search=[Artist here] - skitch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool, but need to be able to display multiple results... (artists do have more than one album)
- jms1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0interesting mix of items when you type "black celebration" (the title of a depeche mode album)
- biffman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is really cool. Too bad it is for music CDs. I searched for software titles and I couldn't find any.
dugg++ - igua, on 06/26/2009, -0/+0Why not use http://cdcovers.to ? It has a archive of many covers sites and offers high quality covers of their own.
- huffy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i like it very much
- deckardrun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0mmbooyah.
- ericpp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That site is horrible! I typed in 'metal' and it gave me Nickelback... ugh!
- bat-21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why are people digging this? There's about a dozen Mozilla search plug-ins that do the same thing.
- OOTay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lmao.... http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000003B6U.01._SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg
- Killerah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Amarok does this for you.
- pdajunkee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would rather use google image search, much faster and more choices.
- brokendaylite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its called google images. *name of cd here* thumbnail. that simple people
- 06metzp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0handy... though I wish it'd return more than one result and let you pick. Just because "all star" is in the title of "All Star United" (a band) doesn't mean that I want smashmouth's album art. close, but no digg.
- clouder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks for letting us know that this site is powered by AJAX. That's very important because had I checked out the site without knowing it was AJAX I might have had a heart attack and not been able to post this comment. =P
- iunex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Only 1 album from each artist show for me, sucks ass....try this: http://www.mega-search.net/
- rj89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if you use itunes and OSX then use this http://members.cox.net/afriesen/fetchart/ it's easier i think

find my cover only gives the front image, cdcover gives you both front and back

No Digg!! - Bobcatou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Guys...this is pretty worthless. Go to http://www.cdcovers.cc/ There you can get CDs DVDs and Computer CD covers
Bryan - ursabear, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@ronmexico
Yesssss! That comes up with the ones hosted on iTunes! - ursabear, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very nice! Doesn't have my CD covers yet, though... They're not on Amazon yet.
- skit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice interface, shame it doesn't work in Opera...
- sudonim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Amarok for kde already has this feature built in with its cover manager (fetching album art from amazon). That way the album art is then automatically integrated with the associated album from then on in amarok. Cool site but really been done before.
