Well first of all ... sarcasm is not spelled "sarcarm," you missed your starting markup tag, and to be quite honest, a lot of people give a lot of attention to Google. Try keeping your mouth shut, so you don't embarass yourself anymore :) - wmtrader, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1OK but do they have this one GoogleGoogleGoolgeEnoughWithTheConstantStoriesAboutFingGoogle-CanITurnOnMyTvRadioOrComputeJustOnceWithOutHavingToEarAnotherDamReportOnGoogle.Com
- p5ychop3nguin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I like the first one "466453.com" Google on a phone.
and Arabgoogle.com lol - mikeallen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1googlesex.com, porngoogle.com? wow.
or google4mp3.com - i guess it gives a hint at what may be coming - Joe_rigby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey, don't flame Google, when it becomes sentient, it might send a G-Bot to take you out.
Also, don't be a flamer - A site such as this thrives on what people want to see, and if you don't like it, you could probably make due with /. and cnn.com. Though I use /. as a supplemental to digg.com - mikeallen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i'm with pcgeek. if you have nothing to do besides flame and shout dupe either shut up and ignore these or do what you are supposed to and report it. apparently 200+ people found it interesting enough that they dugg it and don't care if you don't like it. and i haven't seen a full list of google domains until this one. just ones of googleplanets and movie title domains so i don't think it's a dupe. at least site the link you think it's duping.
- stingthebee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think we have to be careful in assuming that Google has plans based on these domain names. Many of these might be to keep others from using them. I don't think Google wants some kid creating porngoogle.com and ruin the Google branding.
- adamcurtis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Kevin, we really need a category dedicated solely to Google. On the front page alone right now there are three or four articles on Google.
- aggrazel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually 466453 is "google" on a telephone keypad. (as an aside, 466453 does not exist within pi, at least not in the first 100,000 places)
The puzzle you speak of was the first 10 digit prime number in consecutive digits of "e". That was 7427466391.com. This domain doesn't exist anymore apparently. - falloutsyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Porngoogle.com
- Lite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL googleporn.com!!
- echimu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol good digg! I think most of these domain registered by Global Domain Consolidation, Research & Intelligence, and Enterprise DNS i.e. www.markmonitor.com on behalf of Google ... just my guess
- pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"anything with google makes it to the frontpage?"
Well if you wanna make it to the frontpage ... beat Google at being the coolest company in the world. You're free to try - emocean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good thing they have googleblows.com :P
:: - Namingishard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol they get those names so noone else can XD
- orbitalpunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0gogoleblows.com hehe
- Tomato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Somebody at Google has too much free time... ;)
- joebus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow half of those sites dont take you anywhere like g00gle.com or google1.com yea dupe no dig
- Darthpip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0See... the 4 billion dollars from stocks is uncovered. Paying for all these damn domain names!
- jbryer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0466453.com was for recruiting thing they did last year. They had a bill board in Boston and a few other cities. If I remember correctly, I think the question was the first 6 prime digits in Pi.com. That led you to another question, where finally you got to a page where they asked for your resume.
- Inzoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It says something about Gbrowser, Gchat, Gcalendar and Gdrive. Also GooglePorn, GoogleMovies, GoogleMusic, GoogleNews, Googleproxy, Googlequiz, GoogleRegistraar, GoogleSyndication, GoogleWifi, GoogleWireless, iGoogle and more! is it some google roadmap or something? or just domains the like?
- ross., on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Interesting but how do we know that this is for real?"
Cus most of them take you to google!
The others..maybe you can check who the domains are registered to. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where's google.xxx ???
- CSKellogg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Interesting but how do we know that this is for real?
- ketsugi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0AdwordSexAmple.com?
- Inzoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0also check the link: http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/050721-141040. They might want to create google maps for the entire solar system! (or maybe universe.. :P)
- neosublime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here's one that's not in that list... "google.tv"
What does Google have up their sleeve? - mikeallen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nice trick thavok.
try this one - http://www.logogle.com/ggl.php?hl=ja&lo=NICE%20TRICK - Randy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ahhh... Google is truly evil!

You may not be far off buddy ... they did just team up with NASA. I guess we'll see what that brings. I personally love the fact that Google is sticking their nose in everyone's business. They do everything right - Tobey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Most of these names are registered just to keep people from using them. You sure wouldn’t want some kid to create googleporn.com and then have people think it’s an official Google site. That wouldn’t be good for their image! I’m sure allot of large companies do this, I wonder how many Microsoft has?
- treelovinhippie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Googlesex.com
Googlesucks.com
... hmm - Charlotte_Web, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, who would type "googleporn.com" while thinking its an official site?
Besides, somebody will just come along and register google-porn.com, or mygoogleporn.com, or googlepornxxx.com, or googleporn.xxx, or some such.
That's the problem with squatting on domain names; there's just too many possible variations out there for you to anticipate them all.
My guess is that domains like googleporn.com are the result of working late and too many beers. :-P - Superfluous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0466453 does appear in PI. Every number exists in PI. You see, PI is infinite so you are guaranteed to find any number within PI. Its cool when you think about it.

therefore, all accesses to xf01.net will be faster. - Superfluous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the decimals are infinite i mean
