- astrosmash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Here's hoping Digg v3 contains an automatic blog-spam filter ☄
- keithharrison, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8For the record, Rev3 has absolutely no involvement with digg.com, other than the fact that we produce the podcast Diggnation, which is about digg.com. The multi-million dollar investment that you speak of went to digg.com, NOT Rev3. I know that, because Jay is acting CEO of both companies and Kevin appears on several Rev3 shows, the fact that digg.com and Rev3 are two entirely separate entities may seem a bit confusing. Rev3 did our part by showing up to the event and taping Kevin's presentation which we will be releasing for free, to the public on Saturday.
- Kurlowski, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Intresting picture of the screenshot they had up. Looks like you can view the history of members now?
- EBFoxbat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I really hope v3 has some behind the sceens feature and isn't just eye candy.
-There are so many people that have 47 submitted stories from th same domain. They shouldn't be allowed.
-The word "dupe" should get your post rated -1 to start.
-I need an extra few mod-points per day for the spit-your-coffee-out-funny posts.
-Without risking security flaws, I need to be able to post links w/special characters that are currently blocked.
-When two stories with the same URL are submitted, there shouldn't be an option to postthe second copy.
-I need Digg to be easily accessable from my cell phone. Opera Mini doesn't cut it for Digg.
-I need an IPO so I can buy stock.
Just my two cents. - Grimdotdotdot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7It's a Canon EOS 5D.
- KissTheRing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I'm already too addicted to Digg, it is a pleasurable distraction. But like any addict I want more, can't wait for v3.
- gavinmcd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Looks like someone photshopped the size of their heads

- probune, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4She's not a host on G4 anymore. Her show was cancelled IIRC.
- ekai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Here's a clip of what some of the visualizations look like. Yes, Kevin said they're opening up the API in July so you can create your own ways of interacting with digg.

What's up with that G4 tomboy host there? Alex and Kevin left G4 yet they want to get footage of them?
TechTV>G4 - JSolo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I captured a short video of the event which you can grab here:

- ekai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Here's some video interviews from the party of Kevin & the guys behind the slick new data viz in digg 3.
http://www.geekentertainment.tv/2006/06/23/previewing-digg-version-3/ - marnaq, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It looks like the map is off site. Maybe a screensaver?
- cawpin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What's funny about that picture is that it looks as if Kevin is about to "claw" her tit. Just made me laugh, hahahahah.
- MiloMindrbindr, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6commander taco, is that you again, trolling?
- Serendipity, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5I just finished listening to the podcast about Digg v3 and it was very informative about the new features of Digg.
- ekai, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4dude. you guys don't even know the half of it. wait til you see the visualizations. you'll bust a nut and cure cancer.
- TeknoTurd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2What happened to the party with open bar that we were supposed to all be invited to Kevin? Thanks.
- Teague, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2These are fantastic shots, well done, sir.
- marnaq, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Great, even tho I love digg v2 for its simplicity.
- mikeyaj86, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I wish I was there!!!
- joshPB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1In episode 50 of diggnation, kevin clearly states that it will be more then eye candy. They talked about the new catagories and also alot of other things (maby a calander type thing)
- GWoods, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it is:

dosn't work :( - Xanin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2indeed, it's nice to have decent photos
- kevincupp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, I viewed a larger pic of it and tried it. There's gotta be a working model online. Oh well, guess I can wait till Monday.
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4It's okay to be jealous. There's no need to wallow in self-pity because you're not cool.
- Lorenzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1some digg users are chatting about that in the irc channel : http://digg.com/technology/Unofficial_Revision_3_IRC
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well Laura Foy was still the host of G4.tv when I cancelled last year. They even axed their own hosts? I would be scared to work there everyday, wondering if my job is safe. From another photo it turns out those hosts have their own podcast, On10.net.
- joshPB, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2These pictures make me very excited. I can't wait to watch the podcast of the new features.
- Serendipity, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I'm really interested in Digg's data visualization tool(s) they have been working on and hopifully they will release it in July. It looks interesting so far from what is captured in these images from the party.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/laughingsquid/173085694/in/photostream/ - grimfandango, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1wish I lived in San Fran :(
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1They should have tried to get ahold of albertpachino and invite him. Wherever he is now...
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Sounds tasty, but I fear for my poor old Mac I use at work. digg barely loads on my old copy of Mozilla as is... Luckily I'll be getting an upgrade soon.
- srg13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Someone up higher said it was a Canon EOS 5D.
- notkevinrose, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Awesome quality photos, does anyone know what kind of camera it is?
- shooby, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2why do you say that? Digg is already becoming that
- boneill428, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2http://www.flickr.com/photos/laughingsquid/173085942/in/set-72157594174626290/
Doesn't that look like Ramzi? - ziggystardust, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That's a decent point you have there. While it wouldn't be very practical to invite 100,000 people it would've been nice for REV3 to invite say the first 50 people that donated money early on. It should be enough, however, to know that your money donated early on helped build something that has impacted tech-media and given a sense of rebirth and retribution to a once prominent Tech-TV, now Digg culture.
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Simplicity? I think not. 1.6 was simple. This is bloated.
- mhockey14221, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2the reason why im not excited for digg v3 is because itll probably turn into the 14yo flame war room that is shoutwire
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2http://www.flickr.com/photo_exif.gne?id=173084779&context=set-72157594174626290
- Ben - LordHalo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1i'm excited about digg v3. We don't have to see comments from dweebs lamenting on "what is Digg? Digg is a technology.....Get a life script kiddies..........
- DarkHack, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Wish I was at the party, but I ant in Cali
- Dolomite, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Those guys at Revision 3 have some real balls. They ask everyone for donations to keep the site afloat, even though they got a multi-million dollar investment, then don't even invite the people that donated to the party! WTF ???
- cyrix, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3I just want them to fix the comment modding system. Like you have to have so many posted comments to use it. Or you can only use it so many times a day. Say like 5 times a day or something. Because right now it's abused like all ***** get out.
- tybris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1wow, that's one wild party!
